We were interviewed on the 9th,
my boy told me they draw pics and answer questions from the teachers like name of kindergarten, family stuff, they also need to read books (eng and chinese) to the teachers.  we were interviewed by the vice principal, a young guy, he is very friendly.  i think my boy did really well, because the vice principal said the teachers gave him very good recommendations.
we need to pay 400 for the reservation fee, registration on 19-21/10, and have to give up the 'lucky draw'.  
my boy likes this  school, i would  give up some interviews but would go to DBS to see how 'great' it is cause everyone is so talking about it.

After you register in HKUGA, can you register in other DSS (直資) like DBS and then make the final decision later?

Our interview was on 8th October.  We haven't receive any letter yet.  Hope we succeed in the second round.

我女女都有報救恩,救恩都收佢,但我會揀港大,因為我住柴灣,學費亦較平,最吸引係頭兩年唔需要考試.

救恩都係好學校,先生好NICE,宗教工作做得好好.

今年學校好絕,連自行派位都唔比你考慮,一就一,二就二,選擇咗就無其他選擇,這樣安排都有好處,學校收到D學生,一定係好鍾意好想入先放棄一切選佢,上年都可以於自行派位後決定.
除非你好有信心入其他心儀學校啦或者派位派到機會好大啦,如果唔係我就唔會放棄此學位.我覺得佢學費都收得好合理,同幼稚園差不多,但當然要視乎家庭收入是否穩定,至於中學噤長遠,點計劃得噤多,到時教育政策係點都無人知啦!
但當然要考慮小朋友是否適合此類的學校,有些小朋友一定要死讀書,有些小朋友你要佢讀書佢就叫頭痛肚痛周身唔舒服.

妳自行派位選了那間學校呢?機會大麼?我兒子選了華仁，
但港大同學會是我們的第一選擇，可惜我未有機會做選擇。

救恩也是好學校，我本來也拿了報名表，最後沒交，主要是
不想升中學的時候再煩一次，現在所報的學校都是有中學
的。其實你可以先登記了再想，除非現在登記會影響11月
的派位，而你又很想進自行派位那間學校，你們的信上有提
出要求嗎? 像12201230所說的話，學校有沒有要大家交出
自行派位那張表格呢?

I am not sure about the situation in HKUGA.  If you register in GT school, they will also ask you to sign a letter claiming that you agree to surrender your primary school centralised allocation right.  They will send your agreement to the government so that you won't be allocated any place in the free primary schools (I assume both first and second rounds).

請各位家長要了解清楚是自己在第一輪"自行分配學位"所撰的學校有多少人競爭，小朋友有没有二十分以上，所報的私學如被取錄；是否需要放棄第二輪"電腦中央派位"，因為在直資小學註冊當天；同時需要放棄"電腦中央派位"。正如BUSYPA所講。

你說得對，要連自行收生派位也要放棄。不過我自行收生報的是Marymount，只得5分，機會難過中六合彩。我囡囡16/10巳去面試，她都答得幾好。但制度不是規定是用計分和抽簽的嗎，我不知學校要面試來做甚麼。

如果我決定選HKUGA，不知是否應該要搬屋？因家住港島南區，離學校頗遠。

同意你嘅講法,我都幫阿女決定咗選港大,唔想再為選校/面試這遊戲而煩勒,若要繼續玩,隨時要玩到六月,反正我相信港大係好學校,小朋友會讀得開開心心,已經好足夠.
柴灣都ok啦,交通都方便,但空氣較差,住入小西灣/南灣半島會好d.

我記得上次去HKUGA聽介紹會時,那位副校長(幾靚仔幾後生個位男士)說,佢地會等埋不分區分配結果公布後才放榜,讓家長可以作出選擇,點解現在會提前放榜?

我地未收到信,但希望候補有位,事實上如果佢地現在俾個位我,我都唔知要唔要好,因為重等緊十一月不分區學位的結果

真巧合,我和你一樣自行收生都是報Marymount,但我有20分都不知好定唔好,很喜歡Marymount因為不用交學費,又是
英文女校,但HKUGA都是間好學校,如果放棄左又入唔到
Marymount到時就2頭唔到岸了,心情實在很矛盾

Dear Kookoo,

Not yet. The first round letter is sent to those students accept by HKUGA. The second round letter on November (those waiting list and turn down letter) and I think by beginning on next month after all result have release. Yu can check the result via their web site.
