有時間入DGJS學校網頁，看一看學生的英文作文。
小一的英文水準，可以說比許多一般程度中文小學的小六學生還要高。小一已懂得運用各式英文語法，詞彙豐富，我不得不說一句「佩服」!

我在BK流年一載，從未見過自稱DGJS的家長！(朋友的女孩或舊生反而有很多) 我想DGJS的家長是沒時間上網的。所以各位家長若真的想其女兒入讀，先決條件便是戒除上網習慣

I don't prepare much on the training. I think I am quite familar to their requirements now. In the ECA aspects, I think my son has little chance, no need to train him and lose its fun! For the academic, I think it is quite fair that if he can fulfil their requirments, he can admit while they want what they want. To me the only attractiveness of DBSPD is only the through train.

I am quite loose to the ECA training, since I think it is a process of nuturing, make it fun or nothing. But I am quite tough to the academic since it is a must to enter into an elite secondary school. If he can get into a through train school as good as DBS, then I will much more relax and can make learning fun also. Poor parents and child!

I don't buy the explanation of the Headmistress, the only reason that requires the parents get the form personnally is to make it being post on the newspaper!

I know some girls from DGJS and indeed some of them are quite smart, but even the not so smart ones are on average, quite snobbish and proud, and this is really something that nobody will like their girls to become (unless the parents themselves are snobbish also). On the contrary, i also saw DGS primary girls not wearing any smile at all, like they are very pressurised and very tired. Some just even slept all the way throughout bus journey.
But indeed, top schools like DGS , Maryknoll are all dream schools. If parents have the financial ability, I think they should still go for these schools than the international schools, esp the parents who are chinese descendents.

I have a friend who found a $1,200/hour violin teacher to teach her girl two times a week violin since K1. So the violin tuition fee is nearly $10,000 per month! At K2, the girl obtained Grade 3 Dist and Champion in Grade 2 in school fest. Not suprisingly, DGJS admited her girl at K3. But after admitting to DGJS, my friend just lets her girl learning violin in Music Office and spends just nearly $130 per month. So what a realty! Thus, spending twenty thousand is no use if the parent can't obtain some recongised cert for their girl.

Bravo.....you hit the bull eye.  Even if they may have spare time to 上網, smart enough not to response...... talk... argue... debate... dispute... some may even trying to showoff....   wasting a lot of time....  be a simple reader is more enjoyable........  Bye..... rather talk about food and travel...

I think no need lah.  澄清what for... stopping two mouths...three mouths....  You can stop all mouths....after all.   Any good school wouldn't get cheap just because of everybody saying they are cheap.   Enjoy to be a reader lah and look for where to get good food and travel lah.  Bye.

in secodnary school, girls just compete for anything, witohut apprent reason, because that is their way of life, from athletics, music to academics.

好好笑.... 很多人說 DG(J)S 是訓練鬥心強的領導。  所以「金枝慾孽」式的明爭諳鬥是和學校宗指一致呢。  適唔適合就見人見志了。
