My boy was being interviewed on 3 Feb but not yet received any letter. Anybody also being interviewed but did not received any letter? Is that means my boy was being rejected? I am so worry. Any idea?

That I am not sure. Sounds like different school still have its diff way to manage the admission procedure..... call them and ask will be the best way to safeguard things even like postal problem, etc.

Yes, I will call them on Monday, anyway, I think kept worrying didn't help anything. If unlunckily I can't offer a place at CWB school, I will go for RC. How about you, did you receive the letter yet? If yes, what's your choice between CWB and RC. Thank you for your comment.

May I ask... will all the Cat 2 students in Abacus won't have an interview for CWBS? will they still offer a 2nd round interview? well, will all the Abacus stuents most likely being offered a place in CWBS in the passed experience? thank you.
this worries me that I will mostly put my kid in Abacus this coming k1, she is cat 2.

Assume:

1. You can't change your Cat 2 status as this is an in-born factor

2. Your kid will be in K1 Abacus

Then you will still have a priority over the other Cat 2 students which is not ESF kinder students. What I can tell you now is, I heard "rumor" said so far in 1st round, no Cat 2 students has been offered interview. It may change after the 1st deadline, so will see....

2. cat 1 outsiders
3. cat2 esf students
4. other cat 2 outsiders...?
or... anyone knows from the pass?

Admissions criteria

Places will be offered to successful applicants subject to availability.
Only one application may be submitted per student.
Students can only apply to the school in their zone (except Year One and Seven students applying during central applications).
Students must be able to cope with an English-medium curriculum. Please see language requirements
We prioritise applications by category (see below) and by date of application.
Applicants in category one will be invited for interview before those in category two, regardless of the date of application.

Category One

Children who speak English as a first or alternative language but do not speak Cantonese and/or read and write Chinese characters.

Category Two

Children who can access the local system but who also meet ESF's entrance requirements.

Within each category priority will be given to students who:

are siblings of children already attending an ESF school;
are attending an ESF Educational Services Ltd Kindergarten (for Year One only);
are former students returning from a period overseas;
have a parent who is a full-time employee of ESF;
are the children of former ESF students.
