no offence, can your younger son get admitted into SPCC this year? and would u share which month does your younger son born? also, after the 1st semester in SPCC, any comments on it? Glad to have your sharing.

我朋友的另一半在DBSPD教書, 他說自己太了解學校, 反而不會選它.  他認為:

SPCCPS vs DBSPD --> 應選SPCCPS
La Salle vs DBSPD --> 他自己讓兒子選讀La Salle,
                                  現在成績大概全級頭十名吧!

我明年打算報SPCCPS, 但呢間實在太難入.  我不是住九龍塘, 所以無緣抽La Salle, 只可叩門, 唯有寄望DBSPD吧, 諗起都頭痛!!

你朋友o既邏輯都幾得意，因為太了解一間學校，所以選擇一間無咁了解o既學校~~~

my younger son is a very very small boy, born in end of 2003. I know some of the applicants for this year were born in end of 2002. So if you were the headmistress which one would you choose, should be the big boys or girls.  

   No assessment for the first term. My elder son tells that he likes this school very much.

thanks for your sharing, agree with you that the age of a child might be a disadvantage during the admission process, but u might consider applying spcc again next year as headmistress lee did advice some of the young sibblings to try again next year.  just my personal opinion.

因為佢知道男拔既問題, 佢又有d朋友教緊La Salle囉!  

佢個仔讀咗幾年嘞, 佢都認為自己無選錯. 不過最主要既問題係, 佢本身係老師, 無論放個仔係喇沙定男拔, 佢都識教佢.  

至於St. Paul Co-edu, 唔使做老師都知道呢間學校既優點啦!

I may have the same happy problem, ie SPCC or DBS. Would be most grateful if you would advise what your friend/DBS teacher does NOT like about DBS. Many tks in advance.

of course, some people will do that. But my family hates to ask my son to re-study K3 or P1 in order to get into this school. Indeed, my younger son hasn't felt any upset being rejected by SPCCPS. He is smart and clever, but is not so presentable than other applicants only at this moment. Sooner or later, he should do much better.

好多學校都會著重兩文三語, 不只SPCCPS著重, 至於德育教育方面應該比其他學校好.

我的囝囝都等緊DBS result, 所以想請教吓DBS 嘅問題，是否DBS 啲老師沒有像L.S. 啲教師吟... or DBS 啲成功學生真是靠自力，家長及補習多於學校培育，or 德育培訓較遜，還是有軟凌問題，我真是很心急想知，因為我識D讀DBS 家長不願提他們的子女學校生活。我希望我將來沒有為兒子選錯學校，希望多多指教。

哦，咁即係你朋友覺得DBS有問題，而唔係因為佢太了解間學校~~~

"SPCC就唔使了解都知佢優點"，但係好多人都以為"DBS唔使了解都知佢優點"喎，可唔可以解釋吓兩者之間o既分別？又或者你朋友根本唔了解SPCC呢？

以上言論唔係針對任何學校，只係討論邏輯問題~~~

Hi幼兒媽媽,

妳所講的, 我大部份都有問他, 我只能說: 妳對DBS了解不算少, 但他不願跟我說我最想知的”內情”. 也許他還在學校教書, 不方便透露太多吧.  加上我兒子明年才考小一, 若我到時”有幸”遇到相同難題, 我才方便再問多一點.

妳的兒子被SPCC看中, 真了不起, 這是絕不容易的事, 可不要放棄呀! 妳可聽聞過, 每年DBSPD 2nd interview時, 都有10個左右學生沒有出席面試, 因他們被SPCC取錄了.

祝大家能入到心儀的學校!

I just called DBS and the lady said the result has not come yet.

Or they haven't sent out any letters?

Initially, I think we would receive letters within these 2 days tim.
