If the person got a call from ED for address proof, it means that the applicant was failed in the first stage, that's why ED to check the address proof before Jan random?

No, it's just a random check.

I also got the same idea.  If the applicant success in the first stage, then it is not necessary to proof the address.

其實我真係好懷疑, 無理由係呢個時間收到信, 因為第一輪無限制, 就算last year o的人都係第一輪之後先收到要進一步證明通知

Today, another friend also got a call and letter from ED.  I think ED will have more random check in this year.

跟據上年經驗, 收信的都是第一輪唔得的. 如果第一輪得, 因不限網, 無需要花資源查地址. ED已經知道第一輪邊個得, 邊個唔得好正常.

我的律師朋友說，任何時間在申請表上填假地址和提交假地址證明已經是犯法。一經定罪，監都有得坐。千其唔好因小失大。

I got the letter to asking for the address identify!
And until now! No one DSS accepted whatever my son  got the second interview in SPCCPS, SPCBP!
O! So disappointed!!

My cousin also rec'd the letter & call from ED which
need their submitted for additional proof of their
address within 2 weeks.   They are in Net 41
