Went to the school today for assessment and interview, VERY impressed.

Never had good impression about this school, applied as a backup, but after today, it changed our minds.... will definitely consider if accepted!

Happy School, shows lots of care, experience, concern for their students, and VERY good principal .

I think it's famous.  Really depends.  Some people only like the traditional famous schools, they do not spend time to understand the newer schools.

In these recent years, there are more parents willing to spend time to find the schools that are suitable for their own child instead of following the traditional schools blindly.  

A lot of parents from Creative Primary School, they're professors from universities, doctors, or people returning from overseas.  They are more open-minded to the good schools.

This is a really good school, you could tell from the performance of the student.  I was in a school tour while my daughter is taking the interview, and the student who lead the tour was very confident and smart, very different from the student from local school, but not as arrogant as the students of IS. Hope my daughter can get in.

我都有同一問題.  我上年參觀過, 個人唔 like, 但今年再去, 感覺好好, 但 $6xxx/mth 的學費值嗎?
為何 similar 的 陳守仁 & 蔡繼友名氣又好像大很多, especial 蔡繼友只有5年多歷史, 已有很好的口碑, 但啟思則冇乜人談論呢?
p.s. 我係真心發問, 因我都覺啟思很適合我的兒子, 但 $6xxx 的學費對我是很大的考慮.

名氣大唔大係咪真係咁緊要?

有些家長希望小朋友入到明氣大的學校, 可能會滿足到自己的虛榮心, 在朋友面前講嘢都大聲啲.

我個人覺得一間適合小朋友的學校是最緊要, 自己親自去過學校, 見過校長, 見過學生, 感覺都是很好和很滿意的, 點解會唔信自己的感覺?

當然, 明氣大的學校一定有佢地的好處, 但每個小朋友都是不同的, 所以才有這麼多不同類型的學校供家長選擇.

好似女拔咁, 一間好多人想讀的名校.  我可以肯定我個女在啟思一定開心過讀女拔囉.  但又唔可以話女拔唔好, 只係唔適合我個女.

不過學費真係一個重要考慮因素, 如果我唔係真係咁鍾意, 我真係唔捨得.  不過我地返工咁辛苦, 都係為咗比最好的環境小朋友, 如果佢讀得好, 一定值嘅.

好同意你的話﹐只要小朋友讀得開心﹐又學到野﹐我地做家長的就滿足啦!辛苦賺錢都係為左小朋友。。。我都in左啟思﹐但係未知入唔入到﹐但係間學校比我的感覺好舒服!

I think parents ( including myself ) still want some more 'solid' reason to convince ourself that it is worth to spend over $6K a month if we send our children to this school.  I also like this school but is there any more supporting to proof this is really a good school for our kid in additional to those 'feeling'? Some international school's fee is also around this figure, so, what uniqueness of this school worth that 6K... 我係真心發問.. me too! Any comment could be shared ?

你可以去去啟思小學forum果邊問問啲家長, 都有topic 問學費值唔值.

其實值唔值好睇自己有幾鍾意囉, 都唔需要任何人convince, 如果自己非常非常鍾意, 又afford到, 咁就值囉, 如果唔係非常鍾意, $3,000 我都覺得唔值...

我很欣賞他們用生本教育學中文，我的女兒只消一個多月便學會很多中文字！現在非常喜歡上學！

我想我係比較了解啟思小學, 因我有幾個朋友的孩子都在那裡讀, 但我兩個小朋友係讀啟基學校, 如果我AFFORD 得起, 我會比佢地讀啟思小學, 因啟思的語文教育做得幾好, 佢地有7-8 個 ENGLISH NATIVE TEACHER, 而中文係用普通話教, 唔好同INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL 比, 因為 IS 既中文LEVEL 太低, 唔接到香港課程, 而啟思小學最好的地方係可以提升小朋友的自信心, 令小朋友喜歡學習, 佢地亦著重德育的教導, 最後, 讀完之後, 佢地係可以接到香港既中學課程。

Thank you all parents, 名氣當然唔係主要因數, 好似男拔自問自己個仔都唔適合.  只是 for example 我覺得 CKY 與creative 模式理念類似, 但CKY 則幾年間得很多人認同, 當然學費又比creative 平, 所以想問多D資料.
不過聽左咁多家長意見, 肯定小朋友是讀得很開心的了, 就是要考慮

cky和啟思的模式理念不同，cky較鼓勵競爭，cky較著重英文(一年級的英文程度已達到二級的要求)，啟思較著重孩子的個人發展。這是我朋友(她的孩子在cky)和我(我的孩子在啟思)的感覺。純粹個人感覺。
