Hi,
I have not started any reading cards with my son yet, and per Ms So..we shall start the reading cards after the first 2 weeks of orientation weeks.
My son seems enjoying his new school very much.  
Since my son used to attend whole day school, he gets bored everyday after his nap, and phoned me to check on me when i would be at home to play with him.

I think i better to get him occupied with more extra curriculum course.

亞囡話有3位老師:Miss So, Miss Lin +余老師。

另外昨晚佢話老師要她帶燈籠返學校,我半信半疑。今朝再問,佢好認真答係老師叫帶燈籠返去玩。但屋企只有1個小楊桃燈,不可摺疊,萬一唔係真,就唔好啦!於是,等佢上咗褓姆車,我帶埋燈籠去學校搵Miss So,順便了解亞囡在課堂的表現。原來真有其事!不過Miss So話無帶都無問題,學校都有提供。

Really??? i asked my son if he needs to bring lantern to school for mid-autumn festival this year. He did not tell me.  Maybe he was   when Ms So told them. Thanks for sharing your information.

今日第一次派handout , 係關於上課衛生知識, 唔知呢次係唔係第一次係學校填色呢? (老師話張handout自己keep住, 明天唔駛帶番學.) 阿囝話今日冇餵魚, 但有玩滑梯 , 好開心喎.

Miss So told she introduced the laterns yestersday and briefly asked them to bring one for playing in these two days. I thought she hadn't stressed on this so your child missed it. Ask your child tonight or put one small latern into the school bag if he/she doesn't tell.

my husband said Tungtung has told her something about 燈籠, but when he asked more...he doesnt know what did she say.

Then, i asked her again after work, she never said need to bring 燈籠, only said 燈籠 will hang near the window...etc, and bring me "yau fa yuen" again, so i give-up to ask....:(

Hi all K1A mommies,
My son told me Ms So has asked them to bring lantern, and they learnt about the star fruit too.  But this moring I did not let my son to carry the lantern to school at the end, cos no one on the school bus carrying any.  And it is too clumsy for him carrying school bag and lantern.  But i gave him a mini egg custard mooncake for tea.
Last night he told me they played Hide and Seek at school.

仲有, 亞女尋日帶回家的乾手帕(my melody款)不是她的, 我已交回miss so, miss so話當佢問同學仔時, 有一位女同學舉手認領了, 但亞女本身的乾手帕(又係my melody款)可能昨天與呢位女同學交換了, miss so已吩咐此女同學回家如發現亞女的乾手帕(縫上"anson chum"名字label)就帶回學校.

唉, 亞女返nursery時都試過唔見幾次, 幾時亞女先可以無咁"哩啡"呢?!

but i asked my maid, she said Tungtung didnt have any 手帕 when she back home yesterday,  i m sorry i cant help u.

btw, their 手帕 is kept at their uniform's pocket. really dont un why they will mix..... , so interesting....

因為當日亞女臨搭校車先發現忘記帶手帕, 我於是立即回家拿手帕回校交給她。我搭地鐵, 我到學校校車都未到, 門口果位老師叫我交比MISS SO就得。我橫掂來到, 梗係想親手交比亞女架啦, 順便比個SURPRISE佢。亞女見到我好開心, 我想快手將手帕放入佢裙袋, 點知門口個老師一手拿了我手上的手帕快手放入亞女外套個袋。
我估佢地班小朋友緊係除左件外套出去洗手間, 可能亞女洗完手唔見手帕, 咁橋TUNGTUNG用緊MELODY手帕，亞女以為係自己就拿來, 其實我應該同你TUNGTUNG講聲SORRY。

at first day, i already thought she lost the 手帕. But suddenly get back...so, already happy la...

you are so good. you brought 手帕 directly to your daughter. if for me, i may not ....as she can use tissue...

Hi all,

Today I've also given a surprised to Him Him. When he got on the school bus, I took mtr to kv. When the school bus arrived and he saw me, he felt very happy and excited. And I've talked to Miss So for a few minutes. She's really nice and helpful.

I feel like I'm getting to love kv 'cos it really provides the students a very good discipline training. It's my first day at school (apart from orientation day), I noticed that when Him Him got off the school bus, he will find the classroom on his own. Miss So will then teach Him Him to say 'good morning, Miss So' when he arrived at the classroom..then give him a lovely sticker..then I saw him sit down on his chair, and take the initiative to take out the handbook, open to the last page (with temperature measured) and put it on a collection table. Then put the school bag in the drawer and get some toys on the table to play. It's my first time I saw my kid so disciplined and also take the initiative to do all these. I'm really happy to see his progress!

Haha! If I have the tissue with me when she get on the school bus, I will not need to travel long to school in the morning....(coz I was in "very casual dressing" without taking handbag)

My Anson always pretend to be the "teacher" at home and ask us don't make any noise.  She starts love to go to school from this Wed.
Besides, do any mums know whether they have made groups in classroom (i.e. orange, apple, banana, strawberry)?

Today, we cant catch the school bus, just one min late...too bad.

so, i went to school with Tung Tung asked Miss So, any group made for students. she said actually, they have set the group for them but students yet to know which group they are at this moment...
