I have more confidence to this school after reading your message. However, I have one more question. We have HKGEE and A-level Exam. Local school are devided into Band 1-5. How can we know the acedamic result of the international school? I've choose ICS and CAIS since they are both christian school. Frankly speaking, they are not very famous and the school size seems small compare with others. Do their get good result? And I want to know how the oversea universitises choose their students? Is it very difficult to enter the universities in HK for the international students?
My son is only 2 years old. I have decided let him study in international school. But my husband doesn't support me. He want to study in local school. We always argue for this issue. However, we have to make a decision within these two months.

My son is studying in Pooi To and I've apply for CAIS for him too. The students impressed me by their well-behaved.

My son will have an interview in May. Hope that he can make it.

及 後 有 家 長 在 網 上 發 現 聘 請 校 長 的 廣 告 才 揭 發 此 事 ， 「 交 錢  時 候 都 唔 話 畀 我  知 ，  家 其 他 學 校  申 請 都 close  啦 ， 咁 樣 呃 我  ！ 」
楊 小 姐 強 調 ， 校 董 會 的 透 明 度 低 ， 只 願 意 接 見 指 定 家 長 ， 更 不 讓 教 職 員 向 外 透 露 校 長 離 職 。 而 本 報 昨 日 未 能 聯 絡 得 上 該 校 校 董 會 。
教 育 統 籌 局 證 實 曾 接 到 該 校 多 名 家 長 投 訴 ， 事 後 已 鼓 勵 校 董 會 與 家 長 加 強 溝 通 。 發 言 人 稱 ， 該 校 不 是 資 助 學 校 ， 人 事 任 命 不 受 監 管 ； 而 代 表 教 育 界 的 立 法 會 議 員 張 文 光 說 ， 學 校 推 行 重 大 政 策 前 應 諮 詢 家 長 ， 不 應 隱 瞞 。

I think the school is quite good overall, yet will the change of Principal have any impact to the school??

Yes, I think the school does not need to discuss with parents regarding changing Principal, but Principal is the most important person who determine directions and strategies for a school, so the school should at least notify the parents about the change, and should tell if there is any impact on the school's directions and operations.  In this case, seems that the school has hidden the fact, so the parents are quite angry.

As your daughter learns English and French at school, may I know which language do you and your husband speak with her at home?

Also, does a kid need to be very fluent in English in order to pass the entrance interview? My kid is now 20 months old. When should I apply?

My kid is now 30 months old, studying in an international class at HK Preschool. I'd like him to go to CAIS after he finishes K2. Does CAIS admit K3 only? What about K2? When should I make an application for him? Is it one year beforehand? Or can I apply for K3 two years before? Will that give an advantage? Of course, it depends on the entrance exam.
Please advice.

Today, I called their office and the lady said that they start at K3 and the earliest you can apply is one year beforehand, i.e. when you are in K2. Seems that they don't take early application.......
