真道書院吸引好多志同道合家長，有時學生隨父母工作或移民會離校，我就認識一位好熱心服務嘅家長，因為要移民，小朋友就要走啦。

亦有不同原因，其父母決定為子女轉校。據知有學生直升傳統名校，不用重讀原級，有些轉往他校時單憑成績單而不用考試，真道學生的實力如何，大家可以自行推斷啦。

其實今年聽過好幾間直資簡介會, 其中亦有video等睇到各自上課模式, 聽校長講野從而認識學校vision等
心中不由自主會有d比較
有claim英文教學, 但成條片一句英文都聽唔到, 普通話亦係唱下兒歌(見到後面d細路只係咀up up, 講唔上識唱), 我見到開心見到活動但見唔到excellence
有校長講野...........我唔介意唔正經, 但對佢對人對事睇法有保留, 聽完又有d hesitate
校名我唔講了, 如果大家都有去留意, 應該心中有數, 每年呢個時候, 總係流言滿天飛, 總之選擇之前考慮清楚就係了

My daughter said the teacher asked her about: Her name, her school, her family members, her favourite toys, just some basic questions.
Anyone know when are we going to know if we are to be invited for 2nd in?

我女9月4日下午考..
佢果組10個小朋友..有2個喊住唔肯入課室..
我女好似on居居咁..唔知咩樹..
問佢考咩..佢話畫晝同拋豆袋..無講寫名 &問咩..

Yes ah.  And she was asked to write her english and chinese names, write some other chinese words (joining dotted line), choose which animal she likes, and then draw line within (line) to its favourite food.   

Anyway, she said she was the only child in the group, no other children.  Maybe that teachers asked her more her personal info.

Thanks for your sharing.

Do you mean your daughter was separated from other children in the same group? If there was only one child in the group, you should have already known (but not told by your daughter)

Anyway, my daughter also told me that she was not asked any questions by the teachers, and she 'answered' questions only on papers (she treated it as 'homework').

至於一個人一組,我唸係一group入去, 然後有group activity, 又跟住續個續個見

I didn't know there was only her in the classroom until she told me about it after the interview.  She also told me beside the female teacher who talked to her, there was few other teachers in the room, but no other children throughout the whole process,i.e. she never saw other children.

Yeah, I think children were asked to show their hand coordination as well as little knowledge about what the dog eats by doing such "maze" game.

Strange...
At first, didn't she have to line up with a couple of children and went up to the 1st floor? Or she just walked into a certain classroom alone?

您講得啱，呢到D家長真係好醒，話頭醒尾。

係呀！重有機會呀,朋友上年interview後到現在整整一年,都沒有回音,又沒有收到reject信,每次打电話問都是回應校長很忙,未有結果通知,但到前天,竟然收到信件話朋友女兒是on waiting list,現在可入讀Ｐ.1,不過已開了學差不多一個月才收到取錄。

據校長話每年大約有一千名學生apply,選210位,即每人有五分一機會。只要到時不是收到reject信,即仲有機會。希望令公子能入到心儀小學。

我都好希望小兒能入讀直資,可以接受有別於傳統的教育。 ...

Then, do you know when the reject letter will be sent if the kids are rejected?   Is 2nd interview a must for those shortlisted?   Or school will direct take some kids from 1st round only without any 2nd interview?

照我所知,學校一定會面見咗家長至決定是否收小朋友入讀, 因為學校都想知道家長係咪同學校有同一理念。

係吾係個個小朋友問既野都吾同呢? 我個女in完後話我知, 老師叫佢寫中&英文名, 連線 help 狗同貓搵食物, 同埋老師問左佢4個問題 : 1) 有個女人用烏龜燙衫岩吾岩? 2) 有個bb照鏡但有鬚岩吾岩? 3) 有隻 elephant & mouse 玩搖搖板岩吾岩? 第4 條我吾記得左. anyway, 請問你地知道幾時有 result?
