男仔/7歲/學了半年/琴行/1:1/$580,4堂,每堂45mins

之前他在學校學,1:9,學了3個月,但什麼也學不懂,後去了琴行學,1:1,我覺得比學校學好了很多

我在9月中買了一個1/4的琴,但現在阿sir已經話琴太細,要買大d了

I have a small boy who is 4.5years old now.  I would like to let him learn volin.  Does your teacher good?  Can you introduce him to me?

Hello, I must remember you la. All the shoes were good for my daughter and she also like them. Thank you. The new teacher not yet start to teach my daughter ga. He will start at June. Actually he need to finish  the HKCEE first. If you want, I will ask him later.

Thank you for your advise. I hope he can handle my daughter la. I will check him when he start to teach my daughter. I know that he is learn from 音統處 & he said he win many many times 比賽ga. I hope he can being a good teacher la.
Please give me more advise because I don't know about the violin ga. My daughter also first time to try it, hope she like to play it la.

Wah, my musical centre is definitely more expensive than yours. 1:1 for 30 mins for $580/4 lessons.  For 45 mins, it will be about $690/4 lessons.  However, my son like the teacher, and the teacher can handel my son well since he is very active, I don't know other teacher too, than I think I will keep remain to learn their la!

The teacher said may be my son can try to exam grade 1 on 2005 (next year) wor.

Actually, I like Betty ma ma 因自己唔識, 好難countercheck. 貪方便. 所以無乜要求. My daughter not yet finish the course in  琴行 1:3 HK$980.00 for 8 lessons and she was love in it. Firstly the teacher of 1:1 asked for HK$100-/lesson for 30min ja. I asked him can he provide 45min and he say okey la. Because I also asked him to teach English ma. I don't know he is good enough or not ga?????

Same as me law, no knowledge at any musical instruments.  That's why I hope we can communicate over this topic and get exchange more info.  May be some experience mummy can give advise like Yan Yan did before.

my daugher is P.2 and she learns volin at school last year at 1:4 $840/4 lessons/1 hr. Start from this month 1:1 at $820/4 lessons/30 mins. I feel it's quite expensive but since she follows this teacher at the very beginning and I don't know a cheaper and good teacher so I let her continue. Do u know a good & cheaper teacher? I'm in Lam Tin area. Thanks

I check in the Yahoo Auctions(拍賣埸-樂器-violin), I find that there has a teacher in Lam Tin. I asked her before and she gave me the charge 1:1 - 45min around HK$100.- per lesson and her student have the good result before. She post the result on line ga. I call her to come to TKO but she said she cannot come and ask me to go to LamTin. I feel that is trouble for me to take my daughter their every week. So I find another on la.
You can try to find in Yahoo if you are interest in it. If you cannot find it you told me la.

Dear All,

My friend has inrtroduced a violin teacher to me. This teacher is a violinist and pianoist. Besides, he has over thirty years teaching experience including the children. He used to be a professor in a music school in mainland China , may be Shanghai. The friend said that this teacher is aimed at teaching children to be a violinlist. However, the tution fee is very expensive in my perception :  $500 for one 45 min session for beginners. Although the fee is so expensive, this teacher is fully booked and has no much time to teach new student.

I just want to know it is the market price for a violinist or is it worth ? Maybe YanYan can give me some advice in this respect ?

Do you want your kids to be a violinist?  
The friend said that this teacher is aimed at teaching children to be a violinlist. If you want, I think you must get more info. for this la.

For me, I just want my daughter to learn some music instructment. Besides, she also learn Ballet very well. Next week she also need to learn swim le.
So I don't want to give her any 壓力 le.

Hi Dear all mummies,

Besides of the tution fee issue.  Do your children like to practice the violin every night?  At very beginning (like first two months), my son don't like to practice and always claims for tried?  At that time I always wonder may be he start to don't like violin la.  Luckily, he got very much improve now, he is willing to practice violin now, when I ask him, do you like your violin, and he said "yes" then give a kiss to his violin, I already feel very satisfy.

How long is a proper period for the child to practice violin each time?  Any experienced mother can give us comments?

My daughter ususally practise for 30 min every night but not very concentrate. However, if she like the songs , she can practise the violin for over 1 hour. Any feedback from other mums ?

Your kids was very乖呀, my daughter only practise for around 30 min - 1 hour  when she like (not every night). She only practise around 3 times per week ja. It is because she need to handle other homework le. Other I find that it is quite trouble for her to take many things out for practise. (Set 架, set holder for violin.) That is the point that she was alway take out the violin to practise.

I brought book rack (holders) from the music centre ga. The centre requested me to brought the whole set include Violin, holders and books for their course. The holder was around HK$2XX.-

其實初學者學習樂器, 不一定要找名師, 亦不需要替他們想, 第時會否做小提琴家, 如果他們有興趣, 有能力, 想做小提琴家, 也很難制止的.  日後換一個名師也未遲.  當然初學時, 最好也找一個具有相當質素的老師, 音樂系的學生和畢業生是不錯的選擇. 有些老師能夠精通小提琴和中提琴, 是不可多得的.  有需要歡迎聯絡我作介紹.
