Eye contact and concentration training :
The trainer plays different musical instruments and deliberately stops strucking the keys/notes for a while and sees if the kid detects and looks into the trainer's eyes. And play again when the kid has response.
Speech :
Similarly, the trainer plays the instrument and sing. Then stop singing and let the kid sing the missing lyrics (as illustrated in brackets below)
e.g. "Twinke, Twinke, little (stars)"
"The Wheels on the bus go round and (round)"
Imitate action :
Sing songs e.g. "if you're happy and you know it, clap your hands"
Listen to directives :
Ask the kid if he/she wants to play the instrument , he/she should raise hands
