聖方濟各定聖保祿天主教好??

唔係學校低调， 係家長未認真做足功课，剩係聽聽埋其他人講某间學校好，講講下講到间学校高调。高低调係我地自己諗出来既。Canossa　系同 St Paul's 系，一百幾十年来都係數一數二既女校来架啦！

我囡囡係統一派位時派到聖保祿天主教的, 但由於我不是太中意學校返上下午班, 所以又同佢考咗聖方濟各, 而家兩間都收, 都唔知點算好!!:cry:

我女自行派了St Paul's。我都係working mom。两间都好，我鍾意St Paul's 多的，因為 St Paul's (雖然我係Convent）係我母校。

但曾問過幼稚園老師, 她們說聖保祿天主教功課會多些及測驗會比聖方濟各多2次, 我怕女兒會壓力很大呀!! 但又希望她以後能夠讀聖保祿中學呀!!好煩呀!!:cry:

其實，在您的選校過程中，您不是已經心中有數嗎？如果您一心屬意聖保祿天主教，又何須自尋煩惱，再報讀聖方濟呢？

St Paul's 四测两考，个个星期默书。

有压力系好事来既。除非读国际学校/新思维学校，否则读任何本地传统小学都有压力。小学唔谷下，到中学个脑剩系草，到时边有资料思考？

又不用發愁，聖方濟和聖保祿都是一流選擇。既然中央派位您也可以把聖方濟排在聖保祿之前，我想信您在選校的影響力一定比您先生大。再者，選校這回事，大多數的男人都................

St. Paul's sent me a letter saying that my girl was in the waiting list after interview on 16 Jun.  No mention of 2nd interview.  
Don't worry! I think they put all unsuccessful candidate on waiting list.  If you have 2nd in chance, good chance of getting a seat.  
Actually I think many will give up seats as many people will knock more than 1 door.  E.g. I knocked 4 doors and got accepted by 2.  So I turned down 2 schools today and 2 seats got released to the market.  People are still switching and considering.

You mean you put St Francis as 2nd and St. Paul's as third and you were allocated to your 3rd choice St. Paul's???

I put St. Paul's as my 2nd choice and St. Francis' as 3rd choice.  How come you can get your 3rd choice St. Paul's while I cannot get my 2nd choice St. Paul's??? Is it possible?

I'll stick to SH.  I consult my girl's teacher, and I called St. Francis' and found that they still use Cantonese in Chinese Language class.  I prefer my girl to continue her chinese language learning in putonghua as offered by SH.  And with the help of other BK members, I found direct school bus to SH from my home.

Whichever choice you make for your daughters, it won't be a bad one.

I think PM school will be best for working mom.
Whole day/AM school students have to go to bed real early, say 9:00pm.  If you reach home at 7:00pm, you can only spend 2 hours with her.
For PM school students, they can sleep late and can have more time with parents.

St. Paul's has 3 years of PM school, so St. Paul's is more suitable.  
Besides, lunch boxes no good to kids..
What style is your girl?
I find that St. Paul's girls I KNOW are more outspoken, St. Francis more quiet and obedient.  But my sample is quite small..
Which location is more convenient to you?
Academically, both are so close.

In essence, I agree with BoBoCute, esp her observations on the pupils' personalities.  

Just some more points.  If you have planned or you are planning extracurricular activities for you active kids , a regular school schedule is more desirable.  In addition, some parents prefer a regular school schedule to cultivate their kids' good sleeping habit (though at the expense of depriving parents' sleeping ).  

Other than these, either one is a good choice.
