我個女都搞緊過toronto讀書,因為我地係自己搵學校,所以中介人公司唔肯幫我地搞簽證手續,佢地話唔係係佢地學校網絡搵既學校佢地唔可以幫我地喎,我搞咗好耐煩咗好耐,終於係噚日上咗領事館啦,得唔得我都未知,而我地搵既中學係我姨生女讀緊係公校,佢地唔駛睇我女既成績,係去到先睇,and到時要考試先知讀咩級,我個女過去應該係讀11班,但唔知得唔得,我而家最緊張係佢個簽證,因為係我自己搞,我好驚有野搞錯,搞到我呢排有d"失暈落泊"    唉............

我兩個小朋友是刻意入天主教, 再申請公立小中學, 校風好好, 口音也相當純正, 校內亦沒有 Chinese, 學習環境非常好。他們剛回流一年亦相當適應。

我今年係tor返黎hk.因為結婚關係,唔會再返去...
我可以話俾大家聽果邊中學大概係點..
但係去果邊讀書可以話係有得有失
我係學校裡年齡算最大,見到好多細過我既16,17歲的hk學生過去讀..都唔係真係讀書..加上係private school..已經算係易讀..但事實都係咁..就算讀public有chinese其實係件好事,有個照應..因為好多細路仔好依賴屋企..去到冇人管..佢地返唔返學你地d所謂家長都未必知道,更加好難check..最好搵d 計attendent既school..會send返 每個sems既report card返hk..咁你地起碼都有個知字囉..
最多俾佢地住town..冇咁易去到city玩..住hall都好的..其實果d所謂既homestay邊會真係乜都講你聽丫..同埋d野食9成都好難食..越近學校果d homestay就更加差..但係太far d students又唔會中意返學囉...coz too cold in winter

(1 )是否要等有當地 high school 的 proof of acceptance, 才可去Canada immigrantation Dept apply study permit, 才能取study permit 的 application form?

(2) 我望過個Canada immigrantation Dept website, 是要有經濟證明, 是指銀行存款嗎? 是多少錢呢 ?

(3)經濟證明是指銀行存款嗎? 要唔要稅單?多少年的稅單?

(4)apply study permit 耐唔耐? 3 個月時間夠嗎?  >>

I graduated from a  Toronto high school and from University of Toronto. From my personal experience, i.e., my friends as well, public school is better than private school. And when I was still a high school student (in the late 1990's), public school costed/charged more than a privately funded one.
If you prefer public school that accepts VISA student, I believe (from my times...you may want to re-check now) Eastern Commerce Collegiate in the downtown location is not a bad choice.
For private schools, there're a LOT of choices available and most of them are pretty much the same, regarding their academics.

I hope I can clear it once and for all.  I have read a lot of comments with regards to private schools in Canada from kayan_329.  She had bad experience in Canada with private school ...

Maybe I can add my two cents here.  I myself and my siblings all studied public high school and university in Toronto, and now all my nieces and nephews attend private schools in Toronto.  When I asked my sisters and brother why they do not send their kids to public school to enjoy free education, they all said the public schools there are not half as good as they were when we were students many years ago.  That is why even the local Canadians are increasingly sending their kids to private schools.  

Toronto has some top-notch private schools but the tuition fee is very high.  I think if I were living in Canada now, I would probably be sending my kids to private as well.
