Dear ALL Wah Yan Mammy

Please Help!!!!

Going to apply Wah Yan for P1 in year 2007 (deadline this week), have 20 mark already (old boy). I have some urgent point need your advise:
1) My husband is Catholic but my son is not, whether Wah Yan count this for 5 mark
2) Wah Yan receive profile or not?
3) Any difference to apply AM/PM session, if so which has better chance

I have chase & read back all the 3xx pages of the Wah Yan message, I really want my son can be one the them, too.

Can anyone tell me, for the rest students that can not go the Wah Yan Secondary School, what schools they most chose.  Because I can not find the allocation from the Wah Yan website.

I'm sorry to let you know all answers for your questions are "No".
Only by providing the kid's baptism certificate, or else you can't get the 5 pts.
They don't receive any profile at this stage, but you can send in the profile later. Ask your husband to write a cover letter in the name of an old boy, a touching letter might makes a difference. (Not getting a bigger chance in the draw but a better chance in knocking door stage if you unluckily failed.) If your profile is ready, so why not bring it with you, and see if they take it or not. They didn't take any profile 3 years ago when I hand in the application.
All our boys will spend 6 years with 3am(s) and 3pm(s) respectively. Normally am schools are more popular, our am class received more applications in the past.

答: 本身已領洗的小朋友才會有5分, 否則沒有.

答: 基本上沒有分別, 因華仁本身學位少. 即使是下午班亦是很多...很多人申請的.

若你先生是old boy, 機會應該會高很多啊.

我也不知道別的家長是什樣選擇學校次序啊.
不過, 在12區校網內, 男校或男女校很少.
一般的第一選擇是 : 華仁, 聖若瑟 (排名不分先後).
而第二選擇是 : 寶血, 聖雅各, 軒官 (排名不分先後).

I went thru the same feeling/path as you last year, if you have faith and you will succeed.

How's the situation this year, long queue to lodge the application?

我知今年係最後一年有過百個直屬額的，
出年無呢支歌仔唱了…..  
今年好似有110-120 個直升上華仁書院，
有少數去左St. Paul's Co-ed 同DBS，
亦有D 入左維多利亞中學，又聽講有D 入左Rosaryhill...
其實都唔係太清楚，因為我仔只係小三，無八到啊~~

不過男人都係粗枝大葉架喇，
唔緊要啦，20分總算有機會抽籤呢！
我個God child 既哥哥都會報華仁，
佢有25分，舊生+宗教，應該入到。

係呀！上個９月升中係最後一年，
而家６年班的，因中學自行收生由２０％轉為３０％，
所以直屬額咪又減囉．．．慘慘
