Don't worry la!  My girl is a "small" girl and didn't say much at the interview...just relax & take it easy!  Besides, there should be less children born in 2004 due to SARS...so may be not so many applications this year! :

其實年年都有位剩架，我識k2家長話舊年都唔滿，而今年我孖b個班都唔滿，呢幾日仲多左2個插班生，曾老師話，下week仲多一個添。我問曾老師點解會甘遲先插班呢？佢話係其他學校讀緊轉過黎架！

But unluckily my mum said he was very quiet on that day, just sitting there, and didn't want to play...

actually...sometimes he still tells me that he doesn't want to go to school...i 'm quite puzzled on this, and he still says he misses his old school (SPK)...aiya!!!! Could any parent give me some advice??

Has Horace talked about Justin these days?  Justin said he has got a neighbour and his neighbour sometimes plays with him...i think it may be Horace!!!!

My daughter went to the interview on last sat.  I think she will not be offered a seat la, as she liked the toys so much that she ignored the teacher's questions and she showed not willing to share toys with other kids, aiya ....  一反常態

Hi justin1229,  Have you told the class teachers about this?

Several weeks ago, my son also mentioned frequently that he didn't want to go to SKH KG, but he wanted to go back to his nursary school.  At first, I just tried to handle it ourselves, however it didn't work.  I then called the class teachers and asked them about his behaviour at school.  The teachers were very surprised, since he didn't mention anything about this at school, and he enjoyed the class very much.

Last week, when I had another update from the teachers, they told me that they had talked to him, trying to see what are his problems.  Counselling him and telling him that if he went back to the nursary school, he won't be able to see them and other children etc.  The teacher said that it'll be more effective if both the family and the school work together.  They also said that it's normal for children to have such behaviour sometimes, since they will think of past events sometimes and will suddenly feel upset on that.

May be you can discuss with the teachers and see what can be done.

You're welcome!  Did I take any photos of Justin?  Is he the one I took photos of with Ms Wong & other kids?  Don't worry about what he said about not wanting to go to school, as I think he'll enjoy himself when he's with other children & when he doesn't see his parents!  Kids are like that sometimes...

I think it really helps if you talk to Ms. Wong and Ms. Chan.  They are really nice.  Kids are always like that, their emotion at this age always goes up and down.

Yes, Horace still talks about Justin.  I think they like to play with each other.  Horace's chinese name is Sin Chun Yin, maybe you can ask Justin if he remembers him or not.  I'll pick Horace up again tomorrow (tues)... will say hello to Justin again by then!!

I want to ask sth about the monthly evaluation done by the teacher in the student handbook.  In Sept., my son get stars in all areas except a circle in "expressing himself" area.  Because Hang Hang just started to talk for a few months only, so I can understand why he got a circle in this area.  However, teacher give him one more circle in "getting along with friends" area in October.  I guess maybe he is familiar with the school environment, and starts to behave naughty at school.  I am afriad that he had fighting with school friends for toys, or don't share with others..... Any of your child had similar case as Hang Hang???

I think Hang Hang is a very good child already.  Andrew had several circles ga.   

I didn't take this too seriously.  I will talk with the teacher occassionally to update on Andrew's performance.  May be you can talk with the teachers if you are in doubt with Hang Hang's behaviour.

I agree with EllieTo, Hang Hang must be a good boy.  Jaime also has a few circles... But I think it's OK, as that's why she's at school la-for improvements lor...so hopefully by the end of the school year they should all be stars la!

If in doubt, it's best to call the teachers..they are very open..
