The heep hong summer course lasts for 5 days, from 9:30-4:00pm. I'm still thinking about it cos we have to bring him there every day. But need to find something for him during summer holidays.

Preston gets grumpy these 2 days after ~8:00pm. I think he's very sleepy (cos no sleep in the daytime) but doesn't want to sleep. Last night he cried for almost 30 min. b4 going to sleep. And in the morning he doesn't want to get up. Before he has full-day class, he wakes up at 6:30/7:00 which is fine. But now, I have to wake him up at 7:30 and still sleepy. I really have to consider him going to full-day class.

Yes, my Mom used to wake up before 6.30am.  As I have to leave home for work before 7am, my Mom will take care of Brian when he wakes up.

You are right.  The situation may be worse when kids go to primary school.  But by that time, they get older and they can be more cooperative.

I have bought two sets of uniform and two sets of sports uniform for my son.  They have to wear normal uniform on Mon, Wed and Fri, and sports uniform on Tue and Thur

Can the problem be solved if you let Preston nap after school at 4pm?  Just limit his time for napping to, say 1.5 hour and wake him up before 6.30pm for dinner.

I can understand that Preston has not yet adapted to the new sleeping habit (because of the full day class).  I guess he cried because he could not get enough sleep in the afternoon & became too tired at night.

Wow, you are early for work too.  When do you sleep at night ?

Btw, my son seems to be okay sleeping in his bed now, esp. when he's got a TV in his room.  And, he gets asleep quite fast.  Am quite happy about the progress.

For the heep hong summer camp, they have half day class and I apply the half day for Preston and it costs $600 for 5 days. They involve social skills, playing games and outings (but in the afternoon). I haven't paid yet, see if you are interested. If yes, let me know and i"ll give u the info.

My new maid arrived yesterday. Luckily she seems quite good and the most important thing she likes Preston. It only took about 10 min. and they get along and play together. My last miad (the one I fired) just stood beside him and did not know how to play with a kid, she took 2 days to start to play with him. So I guess I can layback and relax.

How's your Mother's day? 我收到Preston一張咭(學校教),一枝花(屋宛送)和Preston唱左一首'媽媽真偉大' and 'I love you mummy', so sweet, coz it's the first time he sings a song to me. Hope next year he will understand what mother's day is. He asked daddy '母(冇)親節快樂,咁有親節呢?'

Too bad to tell you all that Brian has got a sore throat since Saturday evening.  His has got high fever (104.5 at max) and he vomited all the solid and liquid food.  Poor little boy!  He stayed at home today and didn't go to school.  Hope he can recover soon.

Because of his sickness, we could only have a dinner with my family last Saturday night and we stayed at home the whole day yesterday.

It's good to know that your new maid is a good one.  I hope she will be a reliable one and she treats Preston well.

I like Brian's mother's day card and the song 'I love you mummy' very much.  However, I guess he still doesn't know what is the meaning of '母親'.

BTW, could you tell me some more about the Heep Hong summer camp?  I will not join the program offered in school as it's too expensive and I think Brian will not be interested in this topic at this age.

頭先打去學校諗住join summer course, 點知佢地只收足3歲既小朋友, ho lim 11月先夠3歲, 所以無得join, wowowo, 又要再幫佢搵節目啦!!

i do agree that the content of the handprint is very meaningful.  my son also says 'happy mother's day' to me & gave me the card when i went home from work last friday.

as for summer, if we do not go for a trip, i probably join the course offered by school.  i read the newspaper today & learnt that Jean M Wong School of Ballet also offered summer course.  You may visit the website www.jmwballet.org  Yet, note that the schedule of 2006 has not been posted yet.

Brian's fever was gone last night but he coughed seriously.  He has fever again this morning.  I will let him stay at home for at least one more day.  Too bad!

ho lim 暫時都ok, 只係半夜訓教有2聲咳, 日頭就無見佢咳過, 可能呢幾日轉天氣既關係, 因為佢氣管敏感, 一轉天氣佢條氣管就有變化, 準過天文台.

Hope Brian will recover soon! He must lose some weight, everytime they get sick, they will lose at least 1 lb and so difficult to regain the lost weight (you know, they are not fat kids).

Last year the school did not allow Preston to join the summer course in the beginning too (cos he was about 2 and 1/2 yrs old), but later on, I talked to Miss Hung and she said he could try cos he attended 1/2 of class already and finally they let him joined it (of course for $$$). So if you really want ho lim to join, you can ask again.
