My girl wrote "二隻青娃" wrongly in Chinese. It is not "二", it is "兩隻青娃" . Only 96 marks this time. Uncareless mistake. BUT I always keep telling myself nothing is perfect and don't push her too hard. When we were young, we also made those stupid mistakes.

Not multiple choice but they will provide words for you to select so usually you do not need to spell.  They are easy.

Don't frighten me. The vocabs in SCI are so diffcult. I never ask my girl to spell them. It is impossible. She forgets so quickly especially these words are not in use frequently. Do we really need to push our kids that hard? Should I let her take some Olypics or Kumon this kind of classes?? My girls feel a bit pressure from me already as I ask her to study what the teacher taught everyday during weekend.

I don't want her to spell all those words neither. As what you said, those of them are not frequently in use. Thank j-ma-ma again. So far I didn't let her join any classes like Kumon/ Olympics... don't want to push her that much in case she loses the interest to study.. But I plan to let her join Olympics maths when she's in P3. Is it good?

When you are in P3, you will find your daughter quite busy.
I know little about Olympics maths.  Last year, I brought some supplementary Olympics maths exercise but found that they are quite difficult.  On the otherhand, I teach my daughter ahead multiplication and division (2 digits and more) and give her supp everyweek so that she can practise more.  However, the result is not satisfactory because she didn't concentrate at home and have lots of mistakes.

I haven't bought those Mickey books. I've gone through them in bookfair and found it's not a must to buy them. Maybe I'll consider later ..
