Just want to share...
My son, in grade 1, had a fever last Friday. When we were waiting at clinic, received call from general office. We had a choice: make up Chinese test by afternoon or take the chance to rely 100% on Dec's exam.
As it was Chinese, my hubby didn't want to bet it all in Dec's exam. I dragged my son back to school at 11am to take the Chinese tests.
I have to admit, I'm not too adapt to primary school life yet!

My daughter is not very good in Maths as she was confused with the comparison type questions and made some careless mistakes.

Is there any suggestion to improved such problems?

BTW, regarding Chinese part, she is ok in comprehension as she always read Chi books. Although her mark is not very good, it is much better than other subjects.

I just wish school can be little more flexible. I had to take an urgent leave from work last Friday.

Um...if my memory is correct, for English/Chinese stream, Chinese score is 30% test and 70% exam. In fact, should be correct, as both class teacher & Mr. Leung said so.

嘩, 你個小朋友考得好好呀, 我個女中文 c 晒. 我發覺個份寫作卷有d額外野, 係課程度都無. 睇黎, 阿女都要勤力d做多d練習.

P1 終於可以係圖書館借書!! 亞仔琴日係借咗本godzilla 番嚟... 以為係講dinosaur...

阿仔有好多唔小心的錯誤,尤其係數學卷,睇起來好似好容易,但真係要好細心才可以拿到滿分,
希望今次俾到教訓佢啦

Borrow books from Public Library (1st maybe some books with English and Chinese) to let the kid arouse interest to read.

And also take Kumon Chinese.

我都有考慮中文公文式, 上兩個星期到Kumon評估, Kumon老師話Max識中文字庫好少, 要先修讀其字咭, 唔可以做其他閱讀理解, 造句練習, 課程好似幾悶, 所以仲諗緊
