Hi all,

After attended the parent's day last saturday, my daughter was very happy.  She loves the school as it is big, the school uniform and the school bag as they are pink which is her favourite color.  She also remind me to buy her a pink color raincoat.

I also need to buy a new raincoat for my girl.  I planned to buy it tomorrow in Kwun Tong.   Just like your girl, she also likes pink color.

Please don't forget to buy 底裙 or 背心+防走光褲 for your girl, because the summer uniform is a bit see thru and with big arm holes.

According to your experience, would you please suggest, when(7:00am or earlier) should I show up?

9:00 - 9:30 am should be OK.  The forms distribution does not take a lot of time per head, so the quene can move quick fast.   However, if you think this is too late, you can go a bit earlier.

Good morning,

Today is the first time my daughter take a school bus to school.  So I am very nervous that I could not sleep well last night.  Btw, she is very cooperate with me this morning.  She seems very happy and a little bit nervous.  I hope she will settle down very soon.

Hi Everybody,

How's the first school day?  It should be nice and happy.

My little one sleep very early last night but still doesn't want to wake up this morning , may be because of the summer holiday.

She's very tired after school and I asked her take a nap after lunch.  But she insist finish homework before sleeping and did it.    .  So I will see her home work and new books this evening and give her a sticker.

Last night I told her what's the different between K1 & K2  and she's so excited.  She says will learn writing her name.  And so proud that she learned a lot during K1.

1) what kind of interveiw dose this kinder take (both child and parent, child alone or ???)
2)Is it a hot kinder, is it hard to get in?

I bought from Jusco.  The one my little girl used is not a tight fit style.  是純棉類似闊腳短褲及褲腳有綑邊. 兒童內衣部有售.

1)  My girl is in K2 now so I don't know how was the interview in last year.  In my girl year, the interview was for the kids only and the parents were asked to fill in a questionare.  Mainly asking the parents about their point of views regarding the kind of education they want for their kids.  For the kids, they were interviewed as a group of "6" (don't remember the exact number).  There were some toys on the table and for the kids to play.  During that, the teachers (2), will talk to the kids and observe them.

May be parents for K1 this year can help in answer this question?

2) Is it a hot kinder? --- I really don't know.  But since they can keep to have 30 children x 4 classes, so they don't have problem in getting the seats filled.    But when I applied for my elder girl, I needed to line up for the application form.  I was there around 8 and the line already passed the entry of primary section.  At 9, the line already passed the Duke Street.  After I came out from the school with the form at 9:30 am, the line already refilled.   However, when I got the form for my little girl, I arrived around 9:30 am and the line was just about 30 people outside the school entry.  Last year, I saw that there is no need to line up for the forms.  So, I think there is a drop of application.  May be it is due to the low birth rate.

Is it hard to get in? --- Is your girl a Catholic?  If yes, you can almost for sure get the seat.

Hi, Everybody,

This morning, my girl's school bus came very late.  We should get on by 8:10 am but the bus came at 8:30 am.  She keeps asking me why the bus is so late.  She is very eager to go back to school, had been asking me when she can start her new school year for weeks.

Why there is homework for the 1st day?  My girl only handed me the new books she got and asked me to fill the handbook for her.

My girl's school bus was arrived 10 mins later yesterday but was on time this morning.  I already paid the fee this morning.

Your girl can wake up so early.     My girl wake up at 7:15.  She didn't want to wake up so early at all.  But I told her the school bus won't wait for her, then she woke up at once.    

She told me she was very happy as there was many many girls.  (When she studied K1 at old school, she was the only girl in her group)
