Ha ha返來了:loveliness: , 我地去了 南少林, 當地成37度, 少林寺在高山(紫霞山)的山頂小村落裡, 坐車山路迂迴曲折, 山景頗美, 見到村姑扛著兩捆柴枝在身邊走過, 很有電影feel 呀!

去了少林寺的武術學校,位於高山上, 交通極之不便,設備簡陋得驚人, 速逃! 武功沒有學成 , 卻帶著水土不服和中暑的身軀回港 . 功敗垂成, 武功夢碎!

The very basic facilities at 少林寺 should be expected.
That’s why many parents in HK would like to send their children to different types of camps/places in Mainland China for training of strong will and practice of Putonghua during long holidays.

Please take very good care of your and your children’s health now as the new school term will start soon.
I believe you can take out the abundant ammunition that you have accumulated for your elder daughter now and go to the battlefield.   

I am sure Bluestar should have kept more or less the same ammunition as yours and both of you can be comrades in the battlefield in the coming two years!  

Good luck with the “upcoming war”!!

Pupils/parents of junior grades really count on both of you!!

Hi !  I've been to Singapore (again !) and came back yesterday.

Got quite a lot of suppl ex books (!!), just that my kid will definitely refuse to do them (!!)

Sing is really a vvv good place to shop for Engl and Maths suppl material.

Looks like you have bought a lot of goodies (ammunition) for your child!!
And you are so generous in sharing such good list to all TSL parents without any hesitation. 
May be you can consider to start a side business of becoming a wholesaler of supplementary exercise books by setting up a homepage for that.
If you are willing to accept orders not necessarily from TSL parents, this side business will be even more successful!!  
See, you have just received the first inquiry/order below. 
Really think about it!!

BTW, it seems that you also owe us something else (I am not asking for souvenirs)!!
This is a very quick test in determining how serious your dementia is!!  

Sorry, no offence, just kidding!!

And when I retire I might think about it.
Actually most of the books are available in HK, just that its cheaper to buy in Sing usually.  And TSL uses My Pals are Here for HK, whereas Sing version is slightly different.

I know I owe you et al a reading bklist, not that overtaken by dementia yet.
But pls have some patience.
My kid prefers to read books under the "Horrible" series nowadays, eg Horrible Histories series, Horrible Science series, Horr Geography series.  May not suit girls.
And I only use Canto-pinyin input method which is not available on home PC, and Chin is more diff to type, so pls bear with me.

Hi.

The suppl ex books under Just Publications can be found easily in HK, eg in Popular, Joint Publishing (3Luen).  Not sure about the rest but you should check maybe with Wai Fat first.  Others should likely be found in Pg1, Swindon / HK Bk Centre.  But should be more expensive in HK, so I might as well buy in Sing and carry back.

Actually TSL worksheets in Engl are quite sufficient.  Just that I prefer to be armed with more info just in case I get asked / queried.  I can use but not explain the rules usually.  (I mean Engl)

Most parents in Sing are as concerned about their kids' academic work as HK parents if not more.  The rest are too lazy or ignorant to care.  And Sing Engl is usually more difficult than that taught in most local schools.  Just that their accent is diff from ours.

But you need the ammunition to kill some …………..!!   
I am sure you know what I originally wanted to type.   

2)        Aiya!!    Originally I thought about applying for the new post of Sales/Marketing Assistant of your new company.   
Now I have to wait until your retirement!  


3)        With regard to the recommended book list, please take your time.   
Just want to make sure that you can still remember it.   
Being a “net friend” on E.K./B.K. for a few years, we will not impose over-due charges on you!!
