Sorry. I check the writing again.
She has 3 words that started with capital.
But the last word "draw" is all in small character.

Since she has slept, I shall check with her tomorrow morning.

I also ask my girl to do the whole passage, and she is willing to do.  But I agree that 初期都應該只默生字／詞語

唔駛擔心。我諗開學初期都應該只默生字／詞語，之前寫嘅詞語都包括晒啲生字，加埋個"還"字，都差不多啦。

"範圍是課文全文.  但小一剛開始, 會用默寫詞語的形式."
I will ask my daughter to memorize all the words in this chapter.  Hope that I still have time!
Let's wait until Friday and we will know the exact format of this dictation.

真係好攰

因為我是Working Mum, 放工回家要叫亞囡快啲食飯, 然後約8:00開始做功課, 一打開本簿英文字有少少未貼線已被圈, 數學個4字寫了叉叉四又圈, 明明帶了回校的功課亞囡偏偏搵唔到出來交比老師 , 隔一兩日手冊上就欠這欠那:cry: :cry: .......每日都有新驚喜, 晚晚做完功課都已經9:00, 真係大人同細路都好攰 :cry: :cry: 其實如果學校肯將家課表upload 上網、講明mud 色folder 載mud紙 , 我地班家長就唔使日日都怕做漏 or 帶漏嘢 & 想爆頭都唔知邊張叫週訓工作紙啦 !

不過最擔心都係前晚亞囡話小息時無朋友同佢一齊, 佢話佢一個人行吓行吓散步, 眼見班內其他同學仔就幾個幾個行埋一堆食嘢.  囡囡好想加入佢地, 不過又唔識佢地 ! 真擔心 ops:" /> ops:" /> ops:" /> ops:" />

Dear Pullip,

Don't be so upset.. We (my girl and I) don't  start homework until 9pm.. Normally finish them by 10 or 10:30.... It is very tiring. There isn't much time left for other things else except going to bed. I am worried about dictation too.. Well, I will have to use weekend for studying.

Just Keep It Up! Both girl and parents are learning together... We can do it.....

My girl is already asking what is the plan for Mid-Autumn Festival holiday.. .......

Oh, forgot... Regarding 'No one to be with in recess', try to encourge your girl to join other girls.. They are still small, if she aproach them, they are willing to have her in... :D

Dear 1E Parents,

My little girl also wrote down Chinese dictation on next Fri.
However, I found that other classes will have dictation on this Fri.

To avoid any surprise, I shall ask her to study now.
In addition, GS will have a quiz on Ch. 4 on this Fri. Does any parent know what is going to be assessed in quiz?

Yes my girl said the same thing too :(  I guess it happen to some students, they just need more time to warm up.

Don't let her think that she is unwanted and encourage her to talk to others.

Any other suggestions?

Dear Pullip,

Don't be upset. My condition is same as Zengdoumom, we don't get start until 9pm and finished at 10 or even later. No time to do revision. My girl is shy, lucky that she can "get along well" with her classmates.

It's just only the start of the semester, both kids and parents need to warm up. Encourage her and give her support. To get start, may be you could suggest her to invite her neighbour to go to recess together.
