Have just called up the school.  They confirmed that they will call before sending the letter.   Likely they will start calling next week but no firm decision yet.  Grateful anyone pls advise once they receive notice.  

Feeling really stressful in the past few days.  Hope this will be over very soon.

it is confirmed that my daughter's classmate has received call from co-ed already and the interview date is next Wed morning!!

其實DBSPD才是我的首選，。。。當然人地收吾收都係另一會事。。。

I'm getting nervous knowing that someone has already got the 2nd interview notice! ... what we should do is just waiting for the phone call???

SPCC is my 1st choice, but my husband likes DBSPD more! I prefer my boy studying in a co-ed environment! I don't know how to do if my boy got both offers! .... just imagination ... and the chance is very slim!

don't worry, they call both the daddy and mommy, unless your mobile is out of order also!!!

similar with you two, both DBSPD and Paul Co-ed are my 1st choice.  Either accepts my son, I'll go.

Called again and get confirmation that they have actually started calling those with 2nd interview but refuse to confirm whether this will all be done within today.  But when asked if no call received by Tue means no chance - answer is YES.

Got the impression that the calling bit may actually end earlier than Tue but she just want us to remain hopeful for slightly longer.  

Feeling very depressed as no call until now.

yes, her classmate's mom is alumni and one girl from the next class also received call yesterday!  They started calling applicants yesterday!  I called at 4pm today and the staff said they have sent out PART of the 2nd interview letter today and made calls in advance because they are afraid the parents couldn't receive the letter on time next week.  From last year experience, they made call before sending letter!  I think I have no hope because her classmate had the 1st after me and she got the call already that means my daughter is failed and they skipped her!

Right... ha ha... ummm, after going to the briefing sessions of the respective schools, I am a bit inclined to DBSPD - it seems to me that this school has a lot of interactions with parents.

A bit concerned though - a parent told me more than 10 DBSPD teachers resigned in one year.  I'll try to collect more info about this if they really give my son an offer.  Becos not only the concept, I'm concerned about the quality of teachers and the school's management too.

Do you know anything?  Pls let me (us) know, thanks.

Good info CherylMommy!   It makes sense to me - the school may want to inform the 1st batch of 2nd "in" applicants by phone so that they would have more time to prepare (e.g. apply for time off from work).

Skipped you?  Maybe they sent letters to the highest scores or again, sent to those with connection first.  Let's try to collect more info.  Don't feel disappointed this early lah...

By the way, do you know the date of your daughter's classmate had the 1st "in"?

Will they first inform the group who got inteview in Sept?
