You can send the form anytime, they will call you for interview , but better one year before the new school term.

My son was also born in 2003 .  I've called the office, the lady said we can download the application form in September

My son is now in local school P. 6.  I intend to enrol to RC for him.  Would like to have you and any RC parents to give me some urgent advices and informations.  I went to the admin. office yesterday and the lady did not give me any info on how many vacant places for Year 7 in 2007-08.  Can any RC parents provide me with any contact (nice lady) in RC so that I can enquire more info.

Please also tell me apart from the school fees, are there any other misc. fees?  Any charges on ECA?  How about the Secondary students?  Are the discipline acceptable?

If your son is already in P.6, you should apply year 8 in RC in 07/08, not year 7, as year 7 in RC = local school P.6.

Hi, lovelove mom,
You can just send the application form to the office, if they have place for year 8, they will call you for interview. You have to send it asap because they will not call for interview during summer holidays which begins on end on June.
There is no misc fee each month for primary, but don't know if it is secondary, only charge for lunch fee, or a little stationery fee.
The discipline is quite OK in primary, i didn't know much about secondary as they have different recess time and school hours. You can go to their website to get more info.

How to test with the small child and How long the test? Is the student go inside to test or with the parent(s) together!

我女兒今年入讀Year 1，我想問一問返學的鞋是不是有規定的？我原本打算是但搵對白波鞋俾她著，屋企有很多還合穿的，但有一些家長又話一定要穿黑鞋，打去問又話學校prefer學生穿黑色或啡色的鞋，但又唔係話一定喎..那即是點呢？黑色加其他顏色得唔得呢？定話是但任何顏色的鞋都得呢？唔該請指教。^^

Hello, my daughter will also join RC as Y1 student this year.  

We asked the same question to the school uniform office.  She also replied us the same answer.  However, what impression I got is that black or brown color leather shoes are majority, and particularly these two colors match the overall style of the school uniform.  For sport shoes, there is no any particular requirements.  

At last, we bought a pair of black leather shoes to her!

Are the induction days only for new students ?
I did not know about that and I thought the old students would only return to school on Aug 21. And, we still don't know yet which class would my son join. Any tips ?

My kid also likes the new environment though the majority in his class are new classmates (some from other classes of PIS & some are newcomers).  <br />

上一年學校都有講過話要著黑,啡皮鞋同白色運動鞋.  我個小朋友就跟到足晒.  不過我見好多其他小朋友著的鞋各種顏色都有.  有的還天天都著運動鞋(有顏色的).

我建議你們(如果唔怕小朋友俾老師話的話), 可讓小朋友著現有的鞋返學, 睇睇大圍人點著.

不過, 我都係認為黑色皮鞋同白色波鞋就是襯RC校服的最佳配搭.

I forgot I had been asked that question when I submitted the application form.

Regarding to your son's English proficiency, I think the key is whether he would perform as normal when a "stranger" speaks to him.  My daughter was studying in a very local kindergarten, and her English standard is hardly regarded outstanding.  But we provided her quite lot of opportunities to face to Native English Speaker.

多謝你的資料。我今日去買了對黑色的運動鞋俾個女了..算吧，叫做多對鞋著下，日後真係無問題的咪叫她隻隻色都著下返學。

剛收到RC的email，很詳細說明了有關8月20日的Orientation Day的安排呢。

我個女個時係學校去她的學校做interview的，唔關家長時的。我都無特別去問個女究竟個過程係點呢..不過我覺得最緊要係俾個小朋友做番自己，唔好太大的壓力俾他們。
