My daughter hated it in the first week becoz of the distance but loves it now also becoz of the distance. It is becoz of the distance, students will stay on the college a lot and thus the bonding between students is very tight. She makes a lot of friends there. They always eat or even cook at the college.

Yes. You definitely need a bike. The good thing is the college will organize bike tours in fresher week for people to get used to it. Also students will bike together for classes in the morning for same subject. And Cambridge is a bike town. People are scared of bikes than cars, including the bikers.

於是gap year 再apply, 已有KCL 同UCL uncondi ...

IC. 睇嚟reapply都唔一定輸蝕俾人。

阿仔話今年佢學校Oxbridge offer 好少，Cambridge Economics 同Natural Science 都無offer, 唔知係咪越嚟越趨向收多哋state school kids!?

依個係世界趨勢，申請嘅人急速増長，學位增幅完全跟唔上。其實英國大學已經好d，美國大學兢爭更加劇烈。淨係講 early decision, 今年UPenn, MIT, Duke, Cornell 就多咗 15% - 17%人申請。

My son goes to a state school and their A Level results for 2017 were not as good as their 2016 and Oxbridge entrances did correlate to their A Level results. But interesting thing is that they normally have lot more leavers read in Oxford than Cambridge in the past years but for 2017 it was the opposite; 2017 Cambridge 15 Oxford 7
