Thanks Huba! I actually have found another version to fill up the gap but if possible, I would really like to have the original Penguin classics one.
There is some difference really:
Verison A:
There was once a darning-needle who thought herself so fine that she fancied she must be fit for embroidery. " Hold me tight," she would say to the fingers, when they took her up, "don't let me fall; if you do I shall never be found again, I am so very fine."
Veersion B:
There was once a darning needle who put on such a lot of airs that she fancied she was a sewing needle.
"Now, just mind what you're holding!" said the darning needle to the fingers that took her out. "Don't drop me! If I fall on the floor I'm capable of never being found again, I'm so fine!"
