I live in Pristine Villa.  As far as I know, there are 2 school buses which cover the Shatin area. 曾太will pick up Daniel in the morning while 曾叔叔 will take him back from school.  Do you want their contact number so that you could discuss with them directly?  I can send it to you via PM if necessary.

我今天已替我個女報名了，劍鳴亦如AlanShirley所講一樣收了我個女，雖然有interview，我相信km有位既話呢間學校都會收既。我報了11月1 日開始返，不過係pm班lor。
我想問下，學校話要帶隻有蓋既cup返去，想請問您地係帶邊種cup？同埋另外果對帶返學校既鞋可唔可以唔係白色？佢地要求係白色，但我又唔想買過對新既，您地知唔知呀？

      I'm a new user in BK. As my daught is 20m yr, and I want her to take N1 from Next Year Feb . Could anyone can tell me about if I want to apply KM , what I need to do now ? And, is there any school bus from Kwai Chung area ? Many thanks !

You may call 23380832 to arrange a school tour to take a look of the school.  They will give you some forms to fill in if you would like to join their n1.  I guess that the school tour is normally being arranged on Sat according to what I saw last Sat.  Anyway, they will ask for an interview for your child after your application.

Surprised to find our thread on page 12!  Where is everybody?  Busy arranging K1 interviews?  This seems to be a headache for all moms.  I thought I could take it easy but as time for interviews is approaching, I am getting a bit nervous.  

Phoebe, how was the school picnic?  Did Casey enjoy it?  Daniel also had a good time in Chimelong Zoo (Panyu) but he misses his teachers and classmates a lot.  He seemed very excited this morning after taking a few days' break.

Of course I remember you and Sydnee.  Sydnee has grown a lot and is not a baby anymore.  She is a little lady now.  When is Sydnee going to start? Dec?  Yes, Daniel enjoys going to school very much and has recently started taking the school bus home.  Daniel was a 大喊包 in the first week but he has been fine since week two.  Don't worry, Sydnee will be just as good.  From my observation, girls usually adjust better and a lot faster than boys.

The picnic was ok. The farm planned ahead some activities there, e.g., farming, playing mini golf, riding wooden cart, etc. I think overall, Casey enjoyed it. However, she cried so loudly at the first activity, which is riding wooden cart. It was sooooo embarrassing. I guess we scared her by pushing the cart all of a sudden without warning her.  
In any case, I think is good for the little kids to enjoy a day out from school. We took group photos. If you are interested, you can pm me your email address and i can send you some pix.

I'm sure you and Daniel had fun at dongguan. My friend told me the zoo is a lot of fun.

Which kinders are you thinking of applying? I have applied Creative Kinder ( I ran into one of Casey and Daniel's classmates when interviewed   ), Creative Primary's Kinder, Kentville, St Catherine, HKBU's Kinder. I'm more keen on those schools which use Project Approach than traditional. What's your pick?

Wow!  The picnic sounds fun.  It's a pity that Daniel couldn't go.  I would love to see some pictures of Casey.  I will leave my email address as a private message for you.  Ms. Lai told me that there would be another outing in spring and I hope Daniel will not miss out again.  Oh yes, the Dongguan zoo is a fun place for kids.  The weather was lovely too.  I am sure Casey would love to go.  As soon as Daniel entered the school this morning, he told both Ms. Lai & Ms. Wong about the boxing kangeroo!  

I have applied for  Creative Primary's Kinder, Kentville, St Catherine & St. Johannes.  I am also considering HKBU's Kinder but my husband thinks that I am applying too may kinders for Daniel, thus putting a lot of pressure on him.  Traditional teaching method is also NOT my cup of tea.

30/10 11:00 - St. Johannes (What about you?)
30/11 14:00 - York (I might give up this one)
12/11 9:00 - SC
13/11 9:00 - Kentville
13/11 10:15 - Creative Primary School Kindergarten

9:00 is rather early but it is also my most preferred time.  Daniel wakes up very early in the morning so it's not a big problem for him.  On the other hand, afternoon interviews would pose a problem as this could surely upset his napping routine.  Ian-king is going to school in 2 weeks' time.  Are you getting nervous?

Janice went to York and Creative for interview already.  But we think both campus are quite old.  Janice will interview on:

30/10 St Johannes 10am
12/11 St Catherine 9:45am
13/11 Kentville 2:30pm
13/11 Creative Primary School Kindergarten 2:30pm

Still wait for Stafford interview time, and I will apply St. Paul as well for Janice.

I think it is better not bring my maid to the interview as Janice always ask for her.  Creative has accepted Janice and York will notify us within 2 weeks.

I have never intended to send Daniel to York.  I only applied as a warming up for Daniel in going to interviews.  As the time assigned to me was not so favourable (2:00pm),  I'd rather give this one up.  I also like nice and clean campuses but campus is really not a main issue.  The campus of SC is quite old too.  I have also applied for Stafford.  Hope to see you there.

Good to know that we have the same time slot assigned for St. Johannes.  Why did you choose this one?  I really don't know too much about this kinder.  Which class has Ian-king been allocated in Keen Mind?  Daniel is in Class C.  Will they be classmates?
