我昨日買了一些水溶的"立筆"
給仔仔於洗澡前在浴缸/磚牆上塗鴉...天氣仍寒不能洗澡時玩太耐
因他年紀仍"細" 限定於浴室內塗鴉....不會令他混淆可隨時隨地塗鴉
....可以一試.....他見你畫  同畫一些他認識的圖案
可以講故事同教"語言"...

I didn't watch this video before as it's from America Montessori Society.  The distant learning course from YMCA is from Canada (North America Montessori Centre).  

The video reminds me a lot abt the materials I learned.  I was hoping so much if my son could attend such school when I studied the materials, but too bad in HK it's not that popular, or else those "real" montessori schools are too expensive and cannot integrate back to the HK primary/secondary educational system....sigh

I have attended the ChildInfinity parent course, it is good, having more time to ask the tutor (Daisy) and more discussion among parents. CUHK tutor is also Daisy, a bit cheaper, similar length of course but split into several sessions. More students in a class. Depends which site is more convenient to you.


Hi, all moms of 3-6 yr old kids:

what's your viewpoints towards "flash card"? from montessori views or from CI's views, it seems they object to this kind of flash card education very strongly. what do you think?

game: dropper- cant' be found at most Mannings or Watsons. I used the BB nasal aspirator to try but too hard rubber and hence impossible to use just 3 fingers to press and suck. any good suggestion?

using the big brush to "paint" big words on newspaper : my child loves it very much ! good game to practise, help writing in furure !

for the forcepts: i suggest to use the "dressing" set , just cost $5, may try at the large drug store.

Ikea is a good place for furnitures fitting the montesssori home-environment concept. Ikea designers "think" at a child's view. you see their closet, child furniture, table etc.

dropper: you can try to ask for it from doctor.  I used the dropper (for giving medicine to baby) before which is smaller in size and easy to squeeze.

flash card: I didn't use it.  Mainly b/c I'm too lazy to make all the cards   I don't have an indepth understanding of this method but I think there must be some good points there.  There are so many ways to teach our kids.  For my son, although I don't use flashcards, he can now read a lot of Chinese characters.  He likes bus soooo much and he likes to read the bus stop name shown on the bus.  So we always read with him the characters on the bus and take him to bus rides....

IB schools:  actually more local schools are planning to implement IB, e.g. DBS, SPCC, another primary which is quite popular is 保良局蔡繼有學校.

想請教你地, 我个仔依家好喜歡將物件从一个container拿出來, 全部throw to the floor, 咁好就好滿足咁.

但又唔肯放番入去(even 我做給他看, 叫他做), 有時執起來, 放入去, 又唔放手, 根住就又throw away...

我相信等移動物件,應該係空間既敏感期, 我應該点幫助他?(應該說引導他?) 其實我都由佢移動..只要是安全..

是否不必強調歸位, 遲一些其敏感期到來自然會歸位?

分享下我既方法，相反動作∼
我唸住佢禁鐘意拋野，咪又將個basket 內既東西全部倒晒出黎，然後就同佢講，dum入去啦！然後示範比佢睇，佢都好肯做，於是我就續一比佢dum返入去，佢玩得好開心，但有少少大力，咪又同佢講細力d羅，再讚下佢做得好。
但有時佢仍然會 dum野落地，我都只係say NO，最緊要佢明白要放回原位既重要性。我係到佢先放回原位咋，有少少大力，好似發皮氣禁。

多謝你既介紹，卒之昨日買左，好快禁就睇晒！
呢個岩井家爸爸好可愛，佢既畫工不錯，啟發到我不要成日再買玩具比BB啦，我都會開始了解一起做既樂趣。內容又細緻感人。

我通常會係用搭車時間睇，每睇一頁都笑到合唔埋咀，好歡樂的一頁一頁看下去，到今早返工睇尾段，感動到我的眼內滿是淭水，忍住不要掉下來啊！只好假作打阿欠，幸好沒有被人發現。

最欣賞係佢地合做既幻想畫圖日記！去廁所貼紙，簡直要拍手。他們的那份情趣，最令人動心。我本身都係好拿手手工藝，所以一定會效發那種精神，不過我同BB一定會找出另一種獨一無二的玩具來。有一樣野，係設計師一定有既理念就係一定要獨一無二的作品，我都係做設計麻。所以有時唱歌仔，我都會加些他現有既原素落去架。hea...hee..

我做兒童書插畫
所以一看到這本書立即就買...
對!尾段真的感人...最大原因是"真實"
其實最吸引我是"引子"....父親開始做工作的動機...一個願意探索到最後願意反省的家長
對我們做創作真是一個好好的參考
因為曾幾何時我們的工作何嘗不是由興趣開始
但經過日子的磨鍊...有些時候只想快些"完全"多過再"樂在其中"...sorry...多口左

我仔仔都經歷過"掉東西'的階段...其實現在仍間中會做
我跟zzerong626用的方法差不多
都是設定場合/地點/時間/指定物件給他"玩"
但其他時間就會明確告訴他不要做
我不是專家  只是一般家長
我希望引導仔仔好奇的同時教育他 "做人要學習守規距"

我觀察到如果將家中物品有規則地安排
是十分有效引導他們"歸位"
可能這是秩序敏感期

仔仔大約13個月開始有"歸位"的反應
當然不是想像中完美
小一點"要求" 多多"耐性"就好喇

You may try the "display" mtd taught by CI mr Yau and the Monte- books abt "home environment" -- if we display the toys on shelf instead of putting them all inside box, children may be more willing to "clear up, i.e. putting back the toys onto the shelves" then throwing them away onto the floor.
of course, my child also passed through this "throwing things" period. after 2 yrs old, he seems much more cooperative in clearing up toys.
of course, more praise after he is helpful in clearing. and don't expect he can clear up all toys by himself. he always need your help and assistance in clearing up really messy toys.
see if it works?!
