Hi hi eemay, I think it is possible.

Becos my son told me that, after the group game, he was asked to sit and wait until his turn for interview and it was during this waiting time that he was offered books to read.  I asked him whether any teachers were watching him while he read.  He said no teacher was there when he was reading, the teachers were interviewing other kids.

Assuming that your son was the first ones to be interviewed (after the group game), it is possible that he didn't have to read.

My son was the last one in the "call list" in his group, and he was also the last one getting out.  It lasted for nearly an hour (as opposed to 35 mins in your case), but I believe the difference is just the waiting time in between the game and the interview.

And my girl told me that she slept during the waiting time 'cause she finished reading all books but still waiting to meet headmistress. Ha Ha Ha!

Today is 18 Oct. Does anybody receive the 2nd interview letter?

It is confirmed that the school will send out the 2nd interview letter on this Friday.  (One of the SPCC staff told me this news)

I just called Co-ed myself and the staff said they are starting to send the second interview letter on next Tuesday 24th October, 2006!!  Can someone call to re-confirm? Tel: 2526 1882

as the time gap between the end of the 1st interview and the date of issue of the 2nd interview letter is so small, seems the candidate who was interviewed earlier will have higher chance?

I also called the school today and they said they will send out 2nd interview letter at the end of October, but I hear someone said she received a call from school for 2nd interview already.

yes! thats ture!  you are supposed to receive call before you received the letter, they wanna make sure you can attend the interview

I just called the school. She said that they had never called any parents so far. They'll make the call if the parents/candidate do not turn up for the 2nd interview. By the way, she said that the 1st batch of 2nd interview letter might be sent out today (20.10.2006) if ready or might be sent out early next week. So you'd better check the mail box these few days.

yeah so many rumor...I am not talking abt you jomum, I am saying between classmates and mommies at school/class......so we better call by ourselves and I think the staffs tell more in the morning, when you call in the afternoon, they wont tell you anything!! HEHE!  Anyway, very nerous!!  Waiting for the call and letter in every minute!

SLEPT DURING INTERVIEW???

DID THEY PROVIDE BEDS FOR YOUR GIRL?

MY SON JUST TOLD ME HE PRETENTED READING AND LOOK AT OTHER STUDENTS WHO ARE PLAYING AND MEETING TO TEACHERS OR PRINCIPAL.  HE SPY SOME APPLICANTS WHO HAVE GOOD / BAD BEHAVIOUS DURING THE INTERVIEW.
AND LEARNT HOW TO TALK WITH THE PRINCIPAL FROM THE PREVIOUS APPLICANTS.

HE FOUND FEW KIDS ARE TALKING IN THE READING TIMES.........BUT TEACHER WARN THEM - BE QUITE AFTER GAMES TESTING.

I think it due to different staffs who answer the calls.
I called just now, she said they may call the parents to interview...,but she spoke unclearly. I hope I didn't misunderstand.

Anyway, make sure our mobiles have enough batteries and check the mail box oftenly...and......wait

Luckily only parents will feel the nervous, not the kids themselves!      

Me & my husband also feel a bit nervous of receiving letter. But sometimes my husband will ask me whether it is a good choice for our son. We afraid to put him under a great pressure environment to study. But I don't have answer for that right now!

Agree! It's nice to have a channel to relieve here. And we can share the information and exchange our ideas. No matter what the result will be, I'm glad to know  all of you here.
