mcheung, it seems that school seldom send notice to parents, rely on children to tell parents, right? If yes, is it difficult for parents to know what school is doing ?

if the event is less than important, the teacher will ask the kid to tell the parents that is a train-up for the kid.  Most of kindergarten will also do this.
If the event is important, the school will send notice to parents.
Moreover, the teacher is more welcome to receive a call from the parents.  I always give a call to the teacher for my kid's school life.

Now my elder son's class have 3X students with 3 teachers in Kent Rd campus, he will promote to K2 in coming Sept & transfer to Dorset campus.

My younger son will study K1 in coming Sept in Kent Rd.

請問Kentville有沒有 PE uniform?  鞋款方面有沒有指定呢?

I asked a teacher on the day of getting uniform.  She said the PE uniform is included in the misc. fees.  White sports shoes are ok.

can anyone advise me that the route for the shuttle van from Tokwawan to Kowloon Tong.  I can't find it in the list provided by the kindergarten!

I'm the new comer of this chat, because i would like to send my daughter to study at 根德園 in coming year 06. But actually, I'm not so familiar with kent. I just knew that they are so famous in kowloon tong. And the kids will be learn a lot in this school, but another comment is ""the teacher treat the parents not so polite"" is it true?? could you give me some advice... why the moms said if the kids are active, then kent is not suit for them..

My daughter is going to study in the Kent Rd AM class. As I live in Tsing Yi, I am worried about the time to get on the school bus. Does anyone know the time to get on the school bus at Mount Haven? I see today it picks up the kid at 7:40am. Is it better to take the private bus instead? Thanks for your kind advice!

I live in Tsing Yi 美景花園, and I will let my son to take prive bus instead of school bus.  As school bus's pick up time is at 7:35am comparing private bus at 8:00am which is 25 min. later.
