大會只發放比賽日期係2-9／8。
一向慣例，先比賽低級各項，先到高級。
各級Team同production 就一定係最尾一日。

我冇可能放低個仔10日，去6日已經係好大極限。

hi, I am new comer. I have just enrolled for son at Festival Walk summer course. As I see all of you are very experienced, would you mind give me some ideas whether a 3Y old boy can really handle this (there are only 6 lessons, 30 min training + 25 min optional practice without coach)?

As I don't know how to skat so the staff told me that 25 min without coach I have to take my risk but there are still staff in the rink ge,

And is it expensive to continue learning skating? I see there are group training, but 6 to 10 kids a class seems too many students, will there be more coach for this class? but semi-private on for 2 to 3 kids only, the staff said I have to organise and get at least 1 more kid to join.

And is it good learning skating at Festival Walk? I pick there because it is near his school.

Believe your kid! if you don't think that he can handle it, why did you apply the course before?
Expensive or not depends what you're thinking, some useless English Class can be very expensive even it only cost $150/hr.
My daughter is not Festival Walk's student, so no comment on it, but most of high level skaters are trained in there.

小朋友自己玩果part先最重要, 因而係實踐自己吸收教練所教
好多人學完即走, 唔玩多幾個字, 我識有個朋友
個女學左12堂都未識行, 正正就係學完即走,
不過額外得25分鐘好似少左d, megaice一節4個鍾係任玩,
小朋友唔跌過又點會大呢, 真係驚咪比個單車頭盔佢帶

thanks for the advice. really helpful.
As the staff tells me no coach in that optional 25 min, but there are other staff. and I don't know how to skate myself, so she tells me I have to take my own risk, which frightened me.

Do you think it is ok to let him practice more in that 25 min and other staffs can take care of him?

agree with you, everyone falls down and learn to stand up by himself when learning skating. Just thinking he is 3 yr old, don't know he can handle it or get scare and cry.

I aim at letting him try again in all full courses, but in case, he is too scared and tells me he doesn't want to do it, I will let him try once more and at the same time tell the coach he is scared and hope he can take care of him.

But if he still doesn't want to do it, I won't force him. Maybe it is too early for him to learn, we can try when he is 4Y. Just like music, he doesn't like it when he was one, but he now loves singing and music classes since he was two.

thanks fo ryour advice. I let him try ice skating as he sees it when we go to Festival Walk and he says he wants to play. Of course he doesn't know it is not easy unlike walking. I also enroll fencing for him, actually I let him try many things and see which one he likes and continues, and quit those he doesn't like or try again later as kids loves different things at different age.
