我大囡讀小五, 今年妹妹考. 最壞打算係先waiting 先, 等明年call 備取.

應該唔會waiting,只係學校趕唔切出offer letter,等多2星期喇

你的小朋友讀幾年級?

我大囡是由小一讀至今年小五啦.

我知道學校在進步中, 好像今年小一已經有樂器班. 早年2堂外語變為3堂, 取消星期六課,  大部份科目實行專科專教.....etc

學校最強都係英文. 數學科有留心上堂都唔困難, 因為學校出卷唔會太"雕轉". 中文就真係要跟跟啦, 但大家要留意一定不可能同外邊主留小學比較這科呢.

我咩都唔知只係古咋。過我相信這類以非傳統模式的學校，是很容易讓小朋友＂溶＂入同愉快學習。學校事情你可以請教一家三口，佢應該會樂意分享（如果唔好都唔會想第二個小朋友入讀喇）

we had 2nd in on 11 Oct and received a "waiting list" letter one week after. same to u.  my daughter without me attended the 2nd in for about 15 mins.  Would anyone tell me if there is still chance for "waiting list" candidates?

我係今年in p.1咋. 但有兩個妹跟未呀...同校長2nd in 時, 都問佢會否consider siblings..佢話會嫁!
我都交咗留位啦...I like this school much 'cos the language. But just not so sure about the rest.
Do you know, 上到中學如何...
係咪一路都唔洗考公開試..除咗foreign language...唔係好記得校長講啦...

今朝終於收到2nd in call了。我女是10月4日下午1st in 的。11月2日上午會2nd in.

I like SMC than WKF, it just my personal preference.
My kids are P1 now. As far as I know, SMC dont had 呈分試 at P6. I like it because there will be not much pressure for 呈分試 than other school as we are one dragon.

All talent class in SMC such as Fencing, table tennis, chinese opera are FREE and are taught within  the school time, u  are no need to stay behind and give up the school bus. Uniform team such as Browine, Road safty team also. U know many school need to attend the uniform team at saturday.

We have second lauguage ( FREE) , such as French, German, Spanish and Japanese which they can learn from Primary till Secondary, talking about to learn a language for 10 years. Its quite attractive.Compare to TSL they only can learn at primary and which cannot contiune to learn at Secondary. I think SMC will be better.

All subject are taught by english expect Life education. Chi are taught by PTH. small class , max only 25 child.

I am parent of P3.
Language & less workload are selling point in SMC.
P1 is honey moon period
P2 is happy hour period.
P3 is tranditional period.
Workload of P3 is double of P2, but it is half of main stream school.
4 Second languages for P1 & P2 only.
When u prompted to P3, you must choice 1 of 4 to study. Then take public exam of this language.
The english standard is good or higher then main stream school, but lower then international school.

唔滿意???今年升上小五, 壓力大左, 小測多左. 但功課照常唔多,可能學校想要成績啦. 所以d時間用於溫書而唔係做功課.


間間學校都有優點與缺點, 最緊要找到一個合適的給小朋友就對啦.

我搵smc 給妺妹, 貪smc一條龍, 沒有升中壓力, 眼見主流小學對升中的壓力, 我已經怕怕. (朋友囡囡今年小六)

到目前為止, 我仲未收到任何信.

注意 : TSA 我地都要考, 都有操past paper, 但都一定冇主流小學操得辛苦.
