My girl has got 'save' wrong too, but she is okay with 'jump'. I dunno why she is right with 'jump'...I think it is pure luck !

So everybody, for Monday dictation, remind your princesses to listen carefully for the plural and singular nouns (both forms have to be studied) and esnure to dictate them correctly.

I think, to the teachers, they are not outside the scope, the words are just not the third person singular like they appear in the book.  The important thing is whether the teacher has introduced this particular gramma rule to the kids before the dictation, since the word copy exercise, as I recall, also requires they write the verbs of third person singular.  

It seems that P1 may not cover the unseen dictation.  We just have to make sure the gals learn the differences between plural and singular in both verbs & nouns.  If they understand, they will know the differences when the teacher pronounces the words.

Sometime they can do some homework at school... but normally have class.

My daughter normally can finish copying the handbook......i don;t think have way to teach them la... just remind everyday so that she make it as a habit lor.

My gal has also told me that they do not have specfic period of time for doing homeworks but she can manage doing some usually (but not always).

As for writing the handbook,  I can tell you no need to worry much about that...my gal sucks in writting homeworks at the beginning and I always have to beg for help here.  Though now she still misses one or two items sometimes, she improves a lot.  May be she has a very good neighbour to help her...anyway, just remind her everyday and she will manage to do it very soon.

Thanks for your explanation.

But, they are just P1 girls and may not notice this tiny difference. Anyway, we have to prepare for everything in the coming tests and dicts.

It is noted that the scope for English assessment includes sth called "vocab list "?! Do anyone know what that is?
