Thanks for the info.  I just found the notice.  I kept it in the August Dairy and once I turned to this page to mark the date, I found it!  I have been searched thru the house and look into this dairy.  But I did not check this page.  

I just checked with St. Rose, they said that the kids will need to go to their new classroom that date so we need to bring the kids for the meeting.

I am still waiting for MCS's notice regarding the parent day.  It may be the same date of St. rose.  If so, I will miss the one in St. Rose and ask my husband to attend instead.  I will let you all know in August if we can meet on that date.

The ballet class will start on 7/21 morning.  If you still want to join it, you will need to join in today.  Please call the club house # 2772-5666 to check if there is any seat available.

However the teacher said they showed the kids to their K2 classroom before the summer holiday.  

Do they need to go the classroom again?

I recalled that something were distributed in the room during the parents' day.  Parents will be allowed to enter the room with their kids.  And there are some new pupils for K2, so they will need to collect the school bags in the classroom.

Would you mind to tell me how many homeworks in 聖羅撒幼稚園.  Do the children write words in K1?

Hi, Espirt,

St. Rose is not very heavy in homeworks.  In K1, they mainly do the line drawing and matching.  They also learnt some simply Chinese Words, A-Z and 1 - 10.

My girl also just learn these things.  But, she already learn to write 1-10, few capital letters and few simple chinese words.

As she is a small girl (born on December), I am afraid that she cannot catch up in St. Rose.  But now I think she will study very happy in St. Rose.

My girl is also born on December.  She is OK in school and she likes St. Rose very much.  St. Rose is very experience with small kids and the teachers are very nice.  So no need to worry, I am sure your girl will like to study in St. Rose.  

Per Miss Chan, you can start teaching your girl to write her Chinese Name and the class name during summer.  This will be the schedule in K2.

Are Ka Ka happy at the gymnastic class and swimming class?

Wai Wai was crying in the first lesson but she is ok in the second lesson.

it's good that our darling will be in the same class.

Yesterday was the 1st gymnastic class. She likes it as the teachers are very funny.  I think another girl & Charise are the biggest in the class (total 10 children). There is a girl crying through out the class and always look for her mom.  The teacher ask how old is her after the class, her mom said is almost 3.  Oh no, she's too small to take this class (even the teacher says).  She physically cannot handle.

We didn't join swimming class.  My thinking is we can go swimming during summer holidays and may join indoor swimming class during winter.  She likes swimming very very much.  Now she can use swim ring and arm save swimming by her own (the feet not touching the ground).

We went to deep water bay last 2 weeks & Mui Wo last week end.  We swim, ride bicycle and play kite;  very happy and we all got dark skin .  We are planning to go Ocean Park summer fun and swimming again.

Anybody have interest to go swimming / Ocean Park?  Pls sugges.

We were in Mui Wo on 15-16 last week, also stay in Silvermind Bay hotel.

Everything is fine, the hotel staffs are very nice.  Only the bed is too soft, we all could not sleep well.

We are planning to go there in Aug.  Do u have any interest.  This time may not be staying in the hotel, may be in Tong Fok which near Cheung Sa for swimming.

I don't recall the details, but the PTA will arrange something.

This year, K1 has drawing class and K3 has English story and mandarin.  For, K2, I don't know what it is.

These classes will be arranged on Sat and no school bus will be arranged.  Therefore, parents will need to arrange the pick up and delivery of kids by themselves.  Please also note that the # of seats available is limited, so members of PTA will have priorities.
