Just got back from Macau.  Just want to remind you to buy ferry ticket in advance.  How many days will you spend ?  For this trip, I think 2 days & 1 night is a bit too short.  Venetian is so big that we don't have enough time to have a good walk around.

We just came back last night and we stayed at 16 Ponte, it's a new hotle near the central of Macau so it's very convenient. We also went to Venetain for a walk, it's very big and Preston loved the Manchester United shop. It's fun coz we went with another family with a boy same age as Preston so they had a good time together. The weather was no so good yesterday and we didn't do much, just walk and eat. Next time, I should stay at Venetain coz there are more facilities for kids.

Thanks but Hei Ching keeps asking if any LH classmate will go to APS also. I just know Maggie had attended the interview but I don't know if she can get a place also. Anyway, Hei Ching is so excited to go to the same school with her sister in September.

I know quite a few LH classmates went to the interview (we did not go at last) so maybe there are more classmates got the offer. We're still waiting for CKY's result next week. Not too much hope coz there were many applicants. If fail, will go to KTS.

And, it seems that kids will go to many different schools next year (as far as I know).

At this stage maybe.  Not many kids are lucky enough to get a place in the 1st round as far as I know.

My husband and I still haven't come to a consent. I like CKY but he likes KTS. But wait till the result of CKY release next week, I kindof doubted if Preston can get it.

The applicants for DBSPD has dropped this year due to economic crisis.  It seems the chance of getting in the school is good this year.

Preston got accepted by CKY, now it's hard to make a decision between KTS and CKY. Personally I like CKY, but the fee is so expensive. It's such a hard decision, it seems like I'm making a decision that affect the whole life of Preston and our family.

It's really a hard decision.  Maybe KTS has got more history for reference so I think the choice of your husband is reasonable.  I can also understand why you like CKY.

Btw, thanks for your invitation.  We'll be there.

I haven't applied for many schools & CPS & TSL accepted him & we enrolled at TSL.  That's why I say we can't join the lucky draw.

The school fee should be considerated. Except school fee, the extra activities, ECA fee, school bus,lunch cannot be excluded. Two schools are good.
To be frank, case same as U,  If I choose a DSS, the $ resourse is more flexible. But, if I choose a private school, we may have less quality of life.(I have two kids)
So, u should be a consideration.Of course, CKY is more attractive on the languages teaching tool.
