hi...diamond,

唔知係咪小朋友有d壓力, 昨天回家叫我陪佢讀英文故事書, 同埋, 佢時常拎本英文生字出來讀, 遇到唔識讀就問我....

我地都沒有給任何壓力比佢. 只是佢讀書開心就可以.

佢話只係2位老師看14位小朋友 ...

你個仔真係好勁,連有幾多個小朋友都留意到 我個仔仲係成舊飯咁

佢淨係講到,入去先比相,跟住畫畫等老師叫名問問題,再返去畫畫,再叫名,再畫畫,再叫名再畫畫.........如果畫完畫可以睇圖書,跟住等齊人就出返黎

尋晚叫佢揀定兩本書星期三比校長睇,佢死都話唔會講故事比校長聽

same as my son, he couldn't tell me exactly what did the teacher asked him, but he told me the teacher asked him to draw a lot of things.......I asked him like what? He kept telling me items after items, the list was so long that only then I knew he was bullshitting..............I told him it would take me more than an hour to draw all that, then he laughed but still insisted he was telling the truth.

my son does not know how to read English words at all, so he would get zero point from reading.

Hi all,

My son also attended the interview on 29.9.07. He said  
that there were 3 teachers, 2 spoke Chinese and 1 spoke English. In English session, he was asked to colour picture  i.e. colour the sheep in black . Then he read books both in Chinese and English. All the kids have the same books. Then English teacher asked his name and to read some words. The Chinese asked him what is the plant needed for growth.  For our own picture, just one question. Anyway my son feel happy during interview.

Wa! Your son is so smart that he can handle the questions and tell you the details.  My son is happy to share the interview with me but seems not so successfuly ....

Have your kid met the principal?

囝囝一出黎就同我講畫左幅畫, 有砌puzzle, 有老師問中文及英文問題, 問佢識唔識, 佢答"yes". 之後又話有考addition/subtraction, 都唔知真定假.

另外, 副校長話係簡過小朋友, 先至安排面試, 因要將同類小朋友group埋一齊見.

My son has attended the interviews on 18 & 22 Sept. But the teacher has collected his photo and put it on a folder. He told me all the photos of other applicants were also collected. Will they return the photo by mail or face to face? Does it mean all have the chance for 3rd interview(final stage) thought the photo is only a small occasion?

佢一考完走出英華門, 唔使我問, 即同我講老師考d乜, 問佢d乜, 仲話月英文一句句咁問, 佢真係唔識.....

佢今日我地講, 唔係好想讀英華喎!

我也是還未收到信. 而我是最後一天的早上交表, 同一宗教的.
但我十分懷疑校方會否知道我是同一宗教, 因交表時那位職員完全沒有看過我的表格. 她只顧抄寫receipt和考生編號給我, 便打發我走.
我想我明天會致電學校問.

Hi Lindahmy,

My son will meet the Principal on 8/10. Competition was very keen (1,700 kids). I am not well confident that my son will be accepted. Nevertheless, I feel very happy that my son have a great improvement (i.e. no crying).

lady answered politely. She checked for me immediately,
my interview will be held on 6 Oct (morning) and 12 Oct (afternoon), although I haven't received the letter yet.

今早剛剛見完校長，走時比一個家長捉住，問我校長比嗰張紙寫什麼，她表各人的內容有所不同，暗示校長是否接納該小朋友，是否真的呢? 你們的紙又寫了什麼呢?

I think they have scheduled to announce the result after 3 weeks before that. However, the sudden 1700 unexpected no of applicants. According to the past figures, there are around 700-800 applicants. So, I guess the result will be announced at least on the 3rd week of October (mid October). Be patient everyone and good luck to all of you and also my son.

My son met Principal Lam on 18Sept, she gave him piece of paper that written " T o laugh often and Love much,this is success"
