06-07準備入讀Kentville的家長請進~~

我要在此讚揚一下我囡囡的班主任 -- K1F的Miss Chong！我覺得她們很交帶，有事會打電話給家長，有商有量！

話說有一天因有要事，本想為囡囡請假一天，事後Miss Chong說，請願遲返學，都不要缺課。我說：要10:30am才返到學校，會否太遲？她說：還有1.5小時的時間上堂嘛！

Kentville給我的感覺真進取，正合我意！

再者，我囡囡在Kentville真的學了很多東西，尤其中文，現在出街食飯，她甚至會看餐牌，例如：日x王子xx月牛鳥冬（日式玉子豆腐肥牛烏冬）。

我都十分認同Ms. Chong係好care小朋友的教育.      因前2日Ms. Chong打電話給我.....

Ms. Chong好開心地同我講如果不阻的話想講吓Keefe的"naughty"事我知. 我當然好開心呢, 因好多人都話KV老師係吾會主動打電話給家長. 但Ms. Chong叫我千萬不要罵他, 因他已經知道錯及say sorry了.  打電話給我主要希望家長能多了解及在老師和家長一起教育小朋友(我絕對認同她的做法).

"事原在放完小息後Keefe和另一同學仔玩得好開心, 到入班房前還"look"在地地玩. Ms. Chong說地地是dirty及有危險所以stop咗他們(Ms. Chong一直好開心, 沒有給我半點投訴的感覺)."

當晚問Keefe, 他故意避談此事.  不過我再問他時他不好意思地回答"我和同學仔玩, 好好玩ka, 仲"look"咗落地地tim"
   我沒有罵他只說地地是dirty及危險如撞到頭仔就大件事lu... 他點頭及說下次不會呢, 要"look"只會係屋屋"look"呢...  

next morning, 我bring他等校車在出門時, 他說"我吾會在學校"look"地地架呢" 哈哈...     所以我相信學校, 老師同家長只要努力, 小朋友一定明白.

真的好高興識到Paco D同學仔和媽咪,  以前我唔肯定你地係唔係 1F 班D媽咪, 所以我都冇特別係度搭嘴。 Paco性格係好活躍,  開心型果種,  未番學前, 只係番佐年半Playgroup, 冇上個Nursury, 所以初初番學, Paco都唔知做什麼, 所以坐唔定。 又因為Paco遲識講野,  有D Language Delay, 所以唔識表達,  令Miss不知點樣同佢溝通。   我見你地D囝囝囡囡番學時好乖, 好定, 簡直好極端。 唔知係咪大 Paco好多呢?  Paco 係 03年8月。

正如Myoung所講, 真係選啱學校,  KV真係好惦,  因為Paco由初初坐唔定到宜家叫做規規矩矩,   KV真係有佢地o既辦法, 特別係Ms Luk同吳主任, 佢地好有耐性教佢。   當然做Daddy Mammy都下佐唔少苦功,  果陣真係驚 Paco唔聽教要轉校呀,  我每日畫圖畫教佢, 畫班房o既情形先有D成效, 畫裡面有晒你地D囝囝囡囡架, 我成日問佢邊個係Gloria, 邊個係Hang Hang 呀!   宜家講野不知幾叻,  重同我拗野tim.

Myoung,  其實Hang Hang 係坐係邊, 係唔係橙組, 等我認識下佢先, 另外, 你地D仔女有冇番屋企唱歌, Paco成日唱 Jack be Nimbo, 一隻兔子, Swinging等, 好鐘意唱歌架, Gloria 同 Hang Hang 鐘意什麼??

Gloria 鐘意笑 and 唔講野. I think it's because Paco is a 開心型果種, he has good influence on Gloria. She is happy in class now. Gloria draws, reads, watches cartoon, plays the doll house, plays with her collection of stickers, plays barbie dolls, skips and jumps a bit at home. She seldom sings at home, only sings when she is really in her good mood. She sang The Farmer in the Dell, Swinging, To Market, Lavender song, etc. before. She always has no comments when I ask her things at school. Keep silent.
Actually, I don't have a feeling that KV 好惦, maybe my daughter is already a disciplined and quiet girl. I don't need the school to train her to坐定and 規矩. But I am really impressed by KV's teaching methods. They have a way to teach students so many Chinese words, English recitation, songs, numbers, etc. Gloria attended playgroup for 6 months, then she went to pre-nursery for 1 year. Therefore, she knew what's going on in class when she started K1 at KV in Sep. Ah, yes, Gloria is born in Feb '03. So it's very normal that she takes care of Paco when he is in need.

咁你覺得囡囡進度如何?  Paco就ok啦,  中英同logic都幾好, 我覺得kv現時英文教到"L"比中文教40個字比較慢,  不過教統局都唔建議k1小朋友谷得咁快,  其實現時一般k1小朋友水準都超越教統局Standard, 因個個家長都會心急教自己仔女麻.

我之前聽班主任講around新年應該有家長日, 傾下每位小朋友o既進度, 可能係assessment之後。 請問有冇媽咪知幾時有家長日

Thank you for your comments, I already enrolled for the drawing class, every Wednesday, so they will be the same class, haha.....Before I want to choose the Friday class, but my son told me that he want to learnt together with Priscilla

唔緊要嫁, 其實你都可以自己教囡囡配詞, 只要合理, 不一定由KV老師教過, 做Assessment時都當啱嫁, Trevor初時都係講菜菜, 有時仲話豬扒菜tim, 我都比佢激死嫁.  之係教佢蔬菜, 白菜, 不過而家佢都仲有時會答我菜菜, 之後加埋蔬菜, 白菜, 咁我都當仲啱啦.

下星期應該是温習週, 今天早上見到有Syllabus會派番, 不過上面只印半版 (only sllyabus for this week), 我相信意未著上學期完結.

唔會遲d會唔會有一次總assessment呢, 考矖成個學期d嘢嗰種, 如果有BK媽咪知道, 可否快快報料, 等我哋個家長都有備而戰呀.多謝多謝.

菜 = 白菜 (Keefe verion)    

另一件事, 昨晚他突然話要寫字字, 便取了一本練習出來寫字. 奇怪是他寫得好好仲說"it's nice", 在寫"3"字有時不夠圓, 他會說"it's fault". 好開心!

今天放學, 我工人話我知昨天享享在回家途中, 因為唔肯拖住工人姐姐隻手所以跌倒, 個咀仲受咗傷, 佢而家好番d未呀, 你番到屋企佢有冇向你撒驕???又或者你工人有冇主動話你知呢?

我Trevor放學時又係唔鍾意比人拖住, 我成日都教佢, 佢都唔聽, 今個星期一放學, 我工人係要捉實佢隻手, 結果比佢咬咗一口, 最終當然比我重重咁教訓一頓啦!, 你有冇發覺佢哋就算平時肯拖住你, 一見到新奇的事物或都差不多年幾的小朋友就主動”thing”開你隻手.  真係好危險的, 我都係到努力咁改善緊嫁, 不過同目標仲有一段距離.

真好呀! 可以同Theo一齊學, 平時放學後, 我工人就接Priscilla放學後, 在外面吃點東西, 就直接帶佢去Drawing class, 所以2pm開始就剛剛好.
我工人同我講Theo好定好成熟, 唔似讀K1.  Theo真係好叻仔, 又可以記得老師叫佢帶

多謝報料!  昨晚工人都有話我知, 最初叫亨亨自己講發生過咩事, 佢個衰豬知自己錯 , 當然唔肯講, 之後工人一五一十講出來.  當時搭完地鈇, 回家途中望見樓下個商場開始有農曆新年佈置, 一見果d 豬豬公仔就好開心, 個心正如你話齋, 有新鮮野就即刻跑過去睇, 所以就仆到地上.  工人話佢整親個口, 但我檢查過, 傷口唔明顯, 意外應該都好輕微.

我都有教佢出街要拖實, 過閘口時過完要企定定, 等大人過完再拖實等.......  因好怕佢過完閘亂走, 發生意外就弊弊弊喇! 小朋友耳性有限, 我地大人真係唯有打醒12分精神!

Yes, u are right. Hang Hang is in orange group. In fact he just sit next to Gloria. You are easy to find him.

My boy is also late in language development. But is better now as he grow bigger and recognize more. Early education is very important to him as he had a sound improvement in lauguage since he joined Playgroups and pre-nursery. It was a hard journey for him as he cried for half year in his pre-nursery stage.

Heard from other mami Miss Luk and is a good teacher in KV. So we are so lucky. But in K2 there will be more discipline and works for them. Chinese and English dictation, English and Chinese Maths ... . So, 加油 mami.

Believe or not, I heard from my boy there is a test in class for him today. But I heard from Miss Lee the assessment will be held in the coming weeks. So, don't know which one is correct.

Hi, thanks for telling me the measurement update. I found out later when I looked at the handbook.
Gloria also 冇高到 although I thought that she had 高到 because her school skirt was so short. Probably not because Gloria has grown taller, it's because the maid used warm water to wash which made it shrink. Gloria also重了more than 1kg. She is now 17kg. ...hmm... maybe the school jacket is heavy?
