Re: 分享蒙特梳利教學法
evan01,
希望你吾好介意我用英文,因我的中文打字實在太太太慢!
Your question actually made me think a lot. The course I took is for 3 months to 3 years' old kid. That time my elder son was close to 3 so actually he has passed the stages of most activities I learned. Still I found it useful b/c I learned the concepts, requirements (classroom setting, the correct way to present materials...) and the intentions. I also get to know more than 100 activities (ha, the problem is I don't have enough time to do them all )
Now, I can practise some activities with my little daughter. More importantly I'm more alert in thinking the monti way to interact with my girl, e.g. pay more attention to her sensitive period, allowing her to explore instead of instructing etc.
I know the course is rather expensive, but as I said there weren't too many choices at that time. I just thought it may be worthwhile if I could also get the qualification.
The materials are not difficult to understand, but you'll need to complete all assignments in English and send them back to Canada for grading.
Zero,
I think one can still apply the monti teaching well at home by reading books. I'd say this course is more formal and make sure we understand the concept, the purpose and steps of each activity through the materials and assignments.
