Rolardo, don't feel angry.  My son is also very quiet at school.  He seldom talk about things happened at school.  Just happen if I ask him, he will tell me little bit.  Mostly, he only tell me what he ate during tea time.

Cyrus, I also want to know more about Ian's performance at school.  But I don't know if it is not good to call the teachers very often.  What is your case, you call them regularly (like once a week)?  Or you pick up Cyrus yourself?

Babyu, yes you can call him, he told me that he knows Eugene.

I think Eugene won't scare the others, as everyone is dressed up.  They'll enjoy the day!

he started to cough very seriously yesterday night...
and my mum wanna take him to the doctor again tmr~ so i'm afraid Horace won't see his "new classmate" tmr lu~~

yes~ justin is one of the students who don't take school bus...yesterday my hubby picked him up cos he is on leave!!!!!

I'll go to "Fun Day" and "icnic" as well!!!!!!  See you all on that day!!! I believe this is a good chance for parents' gathering cos i'm a working mother and don't have many chances to meet justin's classmates and parents~~

jf830, 我打過三次電話俾老師，平時通常星期五我會去接放學，問下老師阿仔係學校點咁。個三次同老師傾電話都係因為之前老師話阿仔試過有個星期，日日入課室都喊幾分鐘但之後就會冇晒事，老師就跟進問我阿仔做咩係咪有野唔開心。之後就係因為佢病左兩日冇返學後，一返番學就又喊過，好似一次就老師同我講話阿仔太靜唔出聲又食野好慢叫我留意下。

其實我覺得聖公會d老師叫做有耐性，好似我個仔咁因為係全班最細果三個之一，所以佢地會留意多d佢睇下有冇野要跟進。所以你不妨打去問下佢地小朋友的情況，佢地好願意答你架！

I went to pick up Eugene today and I find that the kids' photos (baby & recent photos) have been put on the wall outside the classroom as display. They are VERY VERY lovely. Besides I can know who they are as sometimes Eugene mentioned the kid's name and I have no idea who they are. Take the chance and have a look!!

BTW, do you all aware of the latest educational policy announced by Donald Tsang? I am so happy as I think all SKH students can enjoy such benefits. However, my personal opinion only, I think this benefits should be across the board for every child, actually there are a lot of kindergarten's annual fee is over HK$24000 and they are middle class family and paying very high tax each year. If they cannot be benefited, it seems not fair.

Of course I'm happy with the education vouchers.  At least we have some benefits after paying all those tax in the past years!   

I don't know what happened, Andrew suddenly said that he prefers going to the previous school, where he had nursery classes.  He said he doesn't want to take school bus and he likes the previous teachers more.  This troubles me!

Yeh! That's quite bother, Ellie. But think twice, it is normal for Andrew to say that as he had been to the pre-nursery school for a year (I guess) and only 1.5 month in SKH. Besides, he may had more attention from the teachers in his pre-nursery school than here in SKH (1:15). Don't worry, I am sure after the fun day and outing, he would loves school more & more.

Today there is a notice about school holiday, there will be no school from 20-23 Oct. (4 days), if I know it in advance, I may plan a trip, but now is too late.

Babyu,  Yes, your right.  I called Ms Tsang yesterday, and she was quite surprised that Andrew said he didn't like to go to school.  She told me that Andrew enjoyed the class and she discovered that he'd improved in the past week.  He was more attentive in class and understood instructions.  He didn't fight with other kids etc.  She said she'll also try to ask him and see what was his worries.  I hope as you said, he'll feel better after fun day and picnic.

For the holidays, I think they intentionally told us at such a late date, since if we're told of it earlier,
probably most of the parents will arrange a trip on that 4-day (including me ) and will not join the fun day

Yes, I'll plan for a trip as well if I know of such a holiday earlier.... never mind, it'll also be good to join the fun day... however, since my husband needs to go for business trip, I'll have to take Horace to the fun day by myself !

I just realised that the deadline is on 13 Oct, I called the school just now, and they said that it's full already!

btw, for those who're going to the fun day, what time will you arrive?  Let's see whether we can meet each other     For me, probably we'll go at around 11:00 - 11:30.

Yes, I'm still feeling sad.  I feel like Andrew had missed an opportunity to have fun due to my mistake  :cry:

I'm thinking of writing to the school and see if they can also include us in, or put us on waiting list.  Do you think there's still chance?

我今日帶左阿仔去濕地公園玩，可能因為係平日唔太多人，剩係走時見到好多學生，都值得去下，大家有機會去玩下。聽日我都會around 11:00-11:30去Fun Day, 希望到時遇到大家啦！
