到底係咪當時老師想講「early acceptance已派完」，而佢"聽到"「180個位已派完」？

無從考究，但最奇妙的係由已派出全部學位的流言發展到成條list計錯分，再到抱打不平站於道德高地要撥亂反正！我仲以為睇緊政治題材連續劇。見到話唔知要點同小朋友交代講係學校出錯果陣，我由吃花生到忍唔手。小朋友有權“明白事理”從挫折中成長變堅強,就好似帶佢地去面試唔可以騙他們話係去學校玩一樣。每次見到新聞話有學生小小挫折自殺都非常心疼。這才是我打咁多字的原因，真係唔係佢堅信的維護學校。

其實現今社會就算政府做錯事都想收收埋埋蒙混過關，今次學校企出嚟認錯反而我覺得係值得學習既態度。唔明點解呢位貴家長連official意見都唔接受，硬要聽佢聽返來嘅第一身資料？就判斷間學校係呃人所有野係錯要撥亂反正，咁既然對間學校咁無信心當初又何必報名呢

係啦好快聖誕節，不如大家開開心心同小朋友共渡佳節，放低interview 先，我信學校自有安排，無需要大家猜來猜去！

I an in the early acceptance ws group too. The admin only allowed 1 parent to join the group after registration by showing the receipt.

I remember at the time he claimed registration finished, there were about 100 participants in their group.

yes one may argue there are 80 who havent joined the group. But this is highly unlikely. nowadays it is not that difficult to look for information. In my case I just PM someone who claimed their child received early acceptance offer.

I understand some parents feel they are "cheated" by the school. But the admission process is set up by the school.

For those parents who believe in conspiracy theory, just let them be

Is it possible that all 100 early acceptance people came to take offer on the registration date?  Unlikely, right?  I am not saying that CKY already offered all 180 seats, but if there were really 100 particpates on the registration date, offering should be more than this figure.

Agree too! That means the school should have delivered more than half of the P1 places which is not the same as mentioned by the school!

其實之前都解釋過好多次了，點解校長話third in人數大概一半學位。取決於幾多人放位，450留位費應該沒咩人唔交。所以group中人數100個出入唔會太大。我估應該係派左110-120個出去（純個人見解）.這幾天有幾間神校出結果，加上派位應該之後又會有多些人drop out.又沒話third in call會到幾時，陸續call都係常事。大概一半學位其實都係一個大約的數字，只要不是差太多點解咁介懷？學校肯出來解釋已經好大方了。某些神校更神秘！如果個小朋友夠0力，就算得10個位都會有份，唔夠0力1000個學位都沒用。現在最重要的就是開開心心準備過聖誕，同記得留意電話！

已經收咗起碼100人（我都覺得有些家長係選擇不join group 的，所以實際人數應更多），除非學校有200個小一學位，難以理解如何還剩下"most places未派 offer" 的說法。

至於"不是差太多點解咁介懷"，嘩....

其實絕不是要"怪"學校，如果有弟妹也同樣會希望入讀。只是不值學校因信息發佈不清（之前留 post 講過）而引起太多疑慮。望學校往後能在這方面做得更好。

我唔知報紙上用的字眼是否有出入。不過根據星島日報這編報導話校長講大概派出一半學位。其實連不同報章報導資訊都有出入更何況係其他消息來源。不過我都好同意學校面試和錄取相關資訊可以更加清楚，家長可以有準備的等待，真係一種煎熬。

你點確定CKY係有180個位派180個位？而不是派200個位？我相信音小「超收」比例更高。不過應該冇人可以肯定，既然冇得確定，又如何jump to conclusion?

你講得都啱，但呢句就好多餘。而家係家長想知小朋友仲有幾大機會可以入，有10個位同有100個位當然唔同。

從註冊編號中看我估計是派了120個位。我只係想表達與其爭拗校長是派出一半還是多過一半學位，只要不是差太多，注意係不是差太多前提下，我認為係無須太過糾結。因為second in係有800幾人。多10個位機會都係大大約1/80.重點係要幫助小朋友保持好狀態。因為家長無法控制學校收生人數，能夠做的是培養好小朋友。重點應該放係小朋友到。

我要重申我只是為辛苦的家長抱不平，因此不會再回覆。

最慘係幾日前同一用家傾起，原來有siblings未收offer ⋯⋯ 咁有位都好可能比siblings先⋯⋯ 唉！可以當 game over？

最慘係幾日前同一用家傾起，原來有siblings未收offer ⋯⋯  ...

這個唸法可能要放到去call waiting。學校最想收的是0力的學生和配套好的父母，先可以力保12年後IB成績。Third in階段優勢唔會好大。
