Hi Kentville parents,

As I know that Kentville is a very famous KG in Kln Tong, as my daughter is planning to admit K1 in 2006, does anyone give me more information of Kentville.

1. Is there any outing or picnic?
2. Is the homework much? my friend told me Kentville has many dictation, is it true?
3. Can the parent participate in school activities?
4. Are the teachers easily approached?
5. Does Kentville has native English / Madarine Teacher?

My daughter asked why there are 3 pages of homework every day, why so much ? She said her hands are very tired.  I can only say that "you homework is very simple, same as those in K1, and the teachers know that K2 children are smarter therefore can write more...." Poor child. As parent, I think that 3 pages are really too much for a child at age 4.

其實佢哋都幾辛苦, 因為每星期1至4都要黙書, 亞女已經開始習慣, 初初開學每日做功課時都話想"瞓教", 依家8點前已經做晒功課等我放工返到屋企同佢睇, 每晚都叫我同佢黙書...., 上星期亞女問我你知唔知我哋今日係學校唱國歌, 知唔知點解, 我唔知呀, 佢話因為國慶, 比起以前講多咗好多學校嘢比我聽, 以前問佢話唔紀得咗. 比佢激死呀..........

開學日，老師巳說今年開始要默書，叫我地家長拿住"星簿"同小朋友温習ma..........if u have any problem, pls give me a call

請問什麼叫“星簿”？默書是否已開始？因為都無聽囡囡講過。 同埋，我覺得老師對學生真係好嚴，尤其是寫字方面，囡囡個班好少同學試過擺B+/A，阿囡最叻都係擺B，但係我覺得都寫得唔錯， ，惟有叫佢努力、專心做功課，不要太看重得失。

應該未開始默書.......中文“星簿”係一本細size簿，小朋友自己係第一版寫低教左而又要默書的簿，我見亞仔巳寫"大"、"工"、"人"、"田"、"木"......etc，而中文“星簿”每日都放在書包內。

另外，中間就貼左一張影印每星期的配詞係要考ga，因字咭後教很多配詞，但實際考的就係“星簿”內的配詞呀!!

我問阿女有無默書,佢話無喎!可能每班嘅進度都唔同!功課方面,佢老師都會比B+佢哋,但真係要好靚先有 努力加油

亞仔Miss淨係話會默書，但無話幾時，叫我地每日都要同小朋友溫書喎 :cry:  :cry:

大家有無覺得根德園好著重中文，但英文就好似教得比較慢，仲係寫A,B,C，細楷都仲未教，但中文已開始教配詞，英文好似好唔夠。不過，可能我比較心急。

我仔話有教英文細楷，佢昨晚先講Miss已教"f"tim.........但我唔sure，因我仔巳認到細楷，但未識寫!!

現還寫"大楷"是想他/她們學習用三行線薄綀習寫(以前得
一個大格裡寫)及寫規格嚴咗,有無發覺呢?!

係暑假時，我都已經教左阿囡識晒D細楷，所以唔知道學校有教左未，加上囡囡都好少講學校D事俾我聽，好似上次老師話要過膠，佢都無講，要上BK先知， :cry: 。我只係知道佢係班裡面負責收功課，開/關電視，同埋派筆盒，佢話係老師叫佢做。

禽晚我囡做晒功課後，自己攞張白紙話要寫啲野比老師，好勤力去寫，咁我睇吓去寫咩啦?原來由A-Z字連圖案。佢話寫咗交比老師就有禮物喎!
