我個friend舊年個囡入左2nd in, 讀york, 成績超班, flyer14盾, 鋼琴2級, 父母都係專業人士, 不過最後都唔收。可能臨場表現同合唔合眼緣真係好重要。

Are there other comments on your daughter's report card? Does it show scores or grades>?

All kindergartens has different report card formats.  Some has actual scores, some only contains grades, some uses Phases like Victoria and some only show a graph like continuum.

My friend s daughter was interviewed in the first week , she read the page after the picture description ( one pic ). The girl told us the book is selected by the teacher . She is not studying in famous kinder .
my daughter was interviewed in 9th, she can't get the question about any picture ， any art work or books. Headmistress did ask her something about portfolio and then wait for another girl.
I am not a insider , but I do believe Mrs Dai has studied all application form/ portfolio before she decided the interview group and questions

係咪叫眼緣呢?...


試過去K觀課同小朋友講故事, 玩遊戲, 小朋友差異, 感覺很強烈, 明顯....


個人覺得一定唔需要睇CERT, 因為要睇既野, 一眼見哂... (除非運動, 打功夫之類)


跟小朋友既互動, 遇事(困難, 解難)既態度, 真係好明顯...


唔係認到幾多個字咁表面既野...

my girl is studying in some local kinder , not famous . Most of our classmates ( over 90%) got strict A in the report card, Coz the teacher knows we are seeking p1 vacancy. I think only the 1st tier ( or dragon ）kinder will give B or C , right ?

As a teacher from famous Primary school told me, the comment from the school report does show some difference.
Like personality, language ability and some like that.
You are true that most kids got full marks, but the comments must be different.
My girl told me that Mrs Dai did spend much time on the school report and portfolio and then marked something on it.
For our case, the 15 minutes included q & a, and the time spent on screening the details.

15 mins is a long conversation , if no picture and reading .

observe kids in kinder classes.. the impression on kids varies a lot.
