老實講，我係第一次在EK上聽到有在讀家長話並非所有老師都甘好，我的印象是CAIS和ICS是基督教氣氛濃厚的學校，老師都是極有愛心的。

My girl is now in grade 1 and her class teacher is extremely good. Surely that I can't say ALL teachers are very friendly and nice but I would say at least the majority are good.

Good or bad teachers are also relative to and through the lens of the expectations of the parents.

I've heard commented by parents that their child's teacher isn't good because the teacher was strict, whereas that might be a quality that is appreciated by other parents.

I've heard commented by parents that their child isn't getting enough homework, whereas that might be exactly what other parents are after.

The point is, what's "good" isn't necessarily so in the eyes of another.  But the one thing that I do truly believe it's indisputable, is that all the teachers genuinely care and love their students.

係，所以當碰到唔係咁盡責老師時，我也很驚訝！因為我在EK一直都是收到very positive comments only.

我小朋友是插班的，我想我應該具體d講下點解我覺得個老師麻麻地，首先老師沒有主動跟我溝通小朋友適應的問題，反之我問她，她就回我email說沒大問題就算了，而email也是隔了多天才回覆。試過send email問問題，我小朋友話唔想返學，因為學習上遇到一些問題，我等了好幾日也沒回覆，到open night再問，老師話覆左，我開番個email比佢睇無覆我，佢先話以為覆左，也沒有特別comments, 只說不覺得我小朋友有什麼問題，再者，我小朋友開左學都兩個月，大家媽媽group講開幾時上咩堂，幾時無咩堂上，我先知老師無將個時表貼係我小朋友本student planner度，我問佢先貼番，亦沒有解釋d short form係代表上咩堂，攪到我一頭霧水。其實佢係我10月份收到插班生offer已知我小入邊班，到1月尾先返學，應該有足夠時間準備，但好似咩都未準備好，所有野都求其頂住先咁。純粹個人親身感受，不喜勿插。

我都好驚訝你這樣說，我女兒由prep讀到Grade 3, 全部班主任都非常好，盡責，樂意跟家長溝通，電郵回覆不超過24小時，請問你小朋友的班主任是姓什麼？

想問一問CAIS的文化,是否主要以email為主?打電話給老師是否鼓勵?平日接這小朋友返学放学見到老師的机會多不多?

其實我覺得send email回覆係最快，因為老師上堂又要找時間打電話，其實根據以往經驗，一般數小時就覆，只係晚上有時未必老師check email就翌日才覆，上學放學都會見到老師，如真有事約老師傾談，他們係非常樂意的

Thanks! 請問Grade 4 開始是否全面學簡體字？如果Grade 1 to grade 3是學繁體字，grade 4轉簡体字会否很難銜接？

因為之前看bk 媽媽講cais 中文課程時，知道學生可以按程度（但不確定是自己選擇或是學校因應學生能力而定）有三种中文課程選擇，沒記錯的話，好像中度and 高程度的是用繁體的。所以，我以為是一開始用繁體，就是選定用繁體。
可能要用家解答，我只是在這裡看，為女女日後選校做的功課。就是因為cais 有繁體，也是我priority之一哦。

一開始是繁體, 之後都會是繁體。
prep 班教的中文詞語其實都不淺, 比我預期中深。

I usually talk to the class teacher whenever I pick up my girls from school. As I don't often pick her up, so I just grasp every single minute when I see her class teacher. Once again, her class teacher is very helpful and tell me the progress of my kid. So lucky that my kid has such a caring teacher in her class.
