haha i do the same as well.. I am afraid that I cannot afford for the shock for getting a rejection or even a waitig list letter.

Dont think that there will be any chance for the waiting list at all....

I always ask myself not thinking about it at all.  but cannot control my mind and always hope the result will come earlier.

係唔係真呀... 佢都好緊張個女..早前看见雜誌佢個女仲拿到北大朗誦比賽冠軍... 如果真係..佢一定好失望囉...

If, touch wood, which school in hand will you choose for yr girl if rejected by DGJS?

I m still thinking about St. Clare vs. St. Paul's Primary Catholics School (happy valley).  Which one will you prefer?

St. Paul's Primary Catholics School is a very good school. The secondary school is good in various aspect. I think of sending the form there but i just have 15 pts only. However, the only drawback is it is a half day school as I prefer a whole day school so that the kids can be trained up to be more independent.

Oh, I got it with 15 pts leh!  But don't u think a chinese primary will make the girl have a weaker Eng ability in the future?  This is the only pt that I m still struggling abt.......

Let me have a quick reply first.

I think language is developed throught the environment. The language adopted by the school may not be the only factors to promote the environement. I still remember my old days in learning the spelling of various nouns of diff subject where we did not use it often in our daily living.

Just curious about P1 results this year.

Your girl is very lucky and smart, I agree HY is good too. I like the PTH arrangement, there is one class teaching Chinese in PTH since P3. Hope it would extend to all classes in each form.
