They'd written all the single words on the Chinese star book today.  I asked if that's dictation but my son said no.  He said they're allowed to open the star book.

My son told me Ms. Suen taught them how to write "來" today.  First, 一橫，然後一個爸爸(人)，一個媽媽(人)，爸爸跟住傷風打咗個「乞痴」，所以要劃一條直線隔開佢哋，先再寫埋撇和捺.  Sounds funny but don't know how true it is.

He also told me another story of "fifteen".  He said 15 is not called "Five-teen".  15 is very naughty and therefore her mummy needs to "fit" (means 打）her and becomes "fif-teen".  Haha!!

They'd science lesson today.  Ms. Lee taught them the property of magnet (he told me 磁石or 攝石)...e.g. magnet can be stuck on metal things.  Ms. Lee told them not to put magnet near TV or mobile phones or they'll be out of order.

so funny.  It will be more easily for kids to remember how to wirte the Chinese word in this way.

School note stated there is 1 class in Dorset has quite a number of students have fever.   Becareful of the flu.  

my son also has coughing (but no fever).  He has been stay at home for 2 days.  I will let him stay home tmr as well.

How's Felix now?  Does he feel bored at home?  My son said 7 classmates were absent on Monday.  I didn't quite believe him when he told me that.  Seems that the winter flu peak is coming.  Take care...all of us!

Yes, Calix got it already and I give him 1 Vitamin C tablet everyday.  What about Richelle?

Btw, does Richelle know Kong Yui Ching?  She's in K2B and same school bus station with Calix.

Ms. Lee asked them to practice writing their English names at home (with the help of parents if necessary).

Ms. Lee also asked them to practice more additions at home with parents.  My son asked me to give him 20 math questions including additions, smaller/bigger, smallest/biggest etc.


He also told me that Ms. Lee said there'll be a teacher going to their classroom 睇課 later.  They can get stickers if they can answer the questions asked by that teacher.  He also said that teacher speaks English.

My son keeps asking me to bring him to Japan for ice-skating after learning the word 「雪」.

Yes, Richelle knows Kong Yui Ching, Isabelle.  We met Isabelle once in Paco's bday party.  But Richelle seldom mentions her now.

The seasonal flu seems to be serious...both Ms. Lee & Ms. Suen were sick today.  

P.S. 同阿仔開玩笑，問係唔係佢哋傳染老師。阿仔話「唔係呀，我哋有帶口罩㗎！」
