No choice.
I think most parents are doing the same nowadays and such phenomenon happens in many primary schools in HK.

Let's work hard for a few more days and then we should be rewarded with the long Easter holiday.

kids' french grand-parents are coming to hong kong this Easter.

哈哈.... 過了個愉快假期後, 琴晚同兩位公主王子追返EASTER HOLIDAY功課, 好辛苦.  

大家TEST 成績如何呀?  我個女叫保持水平, 中文有少少進步..... 個仔一般啦, 又係CARELESS MISTAKES, GS 填充有一條突然不用供詞的字, 用自己的文字填. 仲問點解唔岩. 解釋完佢又再問點解唔可以用自己的文字填,好頑固的一個小朋友.   所以有考試制度是一件好事, 起碼可以讓小朋友學習到不是凡事都可以隨心所欲, 有時是要尊守一定的規則與制度.

As for the term test results, my child’s is “okay”.
However, careless mistakes seem to be unavoidable, no matter how many times we have reminded our children in advance !!

We envy you a lot tooo..
We originally planned to visit Thailand, but as everyone knows, we cancelled the trip eventually. Then we immediately changed the destination - "Interlaken", not the one in Switzland, but the one in Shenzhen. Pretty interesting though.

Regarding the tests, surprisingly my son got 391 for the total marks of the 4 papers (2 Chi. + Maths + GS). Very frankly, he is not so smart, but if there is a "careful quotient", he should get very high marks.

391 marks for 4 papers = 97.75 marks on average.  

But I can tell you that it will not be so easy to get high marks from P2/P3 onwards.

Hi Heidikl,

Forgive my boldness. I believe you son must be very smart. My girl is in the same class as your son and she has already told me your son has got 3 subject in full marks before Easter Holiday.
I know he is not only good at study, he is also good at sports too. He has got a medal during sports day, right? Cheers for you and wish my girl can be as careful as him.

It is more likely for our children to get higher marks in P1/P2 if they are careful enough in reading and answering the questions.

But when they advance to P3 onwards, they need to do comprehension and write composition in more words in a structured manner, they have to master the languages better and write with more creativity.
