學校的全日班只會到6:00pm不會有延遲服務的，這個對妳是很重要和必須要知的。另小朋友是否開心？我想每人都會有不同，我自己而言我囝囝由n1開始便已在明慧的了，這些年來他每天也很開心的，遇到的每位老師也對他很好而且也很關心他，但我亦有聽到有家長對學校有怨言的情況，所以好與否並沒有絕對的。
至於參觀學校，我以前就見過幾次有個別安排的，但現在不知了，我諗妳可以向校方詢問或作出要求的。

I won't turn up on that day, cos I'll on duty. I participated this seminar last year. The speakers mainly concerned about school net 14 ( 北角 quarry bay), but they would tell you how to allocate your school choice.
In fact, there is  total 2 rounds in "小一派位" scheme. In the coming round, you only need to choose "1" favourite school regardless of school net (自行分配學位).  If you fail in this round, you can join 2nd round next year i.e. 統一派位.
In the 1st round, you can , of course, choose "La salle" or "st. Jo"even you live at 東區. If you have a elder son studying there, or you are a staff working there. Your son can be straight-in. Otherwise, 大家鬥高分! You will know how to count the marks after you receive the pamphlet from 明慧. Usually, those 名校 or 地區性名校 , hard to enter in this round.
Last year, I also feel confused and 15/16 on school choice. But frankly speaking, it is comparatively 不用太傷神 in the 1st round. You would be felt extremely exciting when you come across the 2nd round, cos you need to set priority on those primary schools which are under your 住址所屬校網, and 3 schools from other school nets. It looks so many choices , however, not all good choices are under in your school net. So lastly, all are depending on "Luck".
Any favourite schools you like? May i know where you live?  Or you will select 直資or private schools for your son?

我大女都係本地班graduated. 佢識得more chinese 生字, her pronounciationin putonhua is not bad. Those friends who are teaching in primary schools always say  that 明慧本地班學生always get above-average performance in primary school. There is comparatively more homework, worksheets, dictations in 明慧upper class than those famous kndergartens. So, they will easily adapt if they promote into a traditional primary school, like 官立, 教會學校...

My kids only joined those 暑期全日班 10 days in 明慧.好明顯, they look more independent in several aspects, such as 執玩具, 少揀飲擇食, 準時睡覺... However, it would be too expensive for us if all three kids studying in whole-day class. Frankly speaking, we always speak in 廣東話, so, speaking in english is not so good. But,"writing", "listening", "reading" in english and mandarin is quite o.k.!!! This school also emphasized in mathematics. When I take a look on 大女 "小學數學"book, it's really not an obstacle for a student from 明慧.

我見今年K2本普通話書同K1唔同出版社,希望我囡囡會好少少,皆因我囡,英文好過普通話好多,屋企無人識普通話.

舊年佢一D普通話都學唔到返屋企,返到黎全部唔記得.那時仲好攪笑,老師用普通話指住圖晝問佢係乜(巳經用普通話講左佢聽好多次),佢竟然用英文答,仲話老師唔岩!   

希望今年好D啦!皆因尋日佢拎本書出黎,識得同我講普通話既:書包,蛋糕,水果同自己個名. 雖然可能幾日後會唔記得,我亦唔知佢講得正唔正,但我都巳好開心!

本身是住在16區，但覺得合自己心意的學校不多，所以會用老爺奶奶的地址(會在14區)。
其實我很希望第一輪便中，不用再等第二輪(我知每人都想)，但可能我是那種比較神經質的人，現在我己經覺得有很重很重的壓力，令我的精神有一定的困擾.............希望上主憐憫吧！

我反而覺得16區多學校選擇，而14區來來去去只得個幾間，仲要分拆上、下午。
今年大部份報章、特刊似乎較為鼓勵首輪自行派位跨區申請，令到我心思思。但如果第一輪派不到，第2及3我會留在14區。因機會始終較大D。

今天同個仔由柴灣至鰂魚涌的學校行了一個圈，似乎比較喜歡太古小學，因交通方便，一出地鐵就係，好似明慧咁。但似乎無太多人討論太古呢間小學，有無人知，可以介紹吓嗎?

你的分析已經非常詳細，其實各校也有其可取，真的令我們十分的頭痛，至於"太古小學"其實我個人覺得也可考慮的，因聽聞該校的教師對小朋友大都很有愛心，而且着重家校溝通，最重要還是功課的壓力不屬太大的，小朋友大多應付得來。
但第一輪我諗會揀軒官小，上下午就未定，因為我比較喜歡它升中的聯繫。
