今日去左{西九龍海濱走廊}, 澄澄爺爺提議的.  坐地鐵到九龍站, 往西隧入口步行二十分鐘就到, 新建的,除了海景及直升機升降外.  沒甚麼好看. 但小朋友就好好走動!!

動植物公園新年時去過一次, 澄澄好鐘意睇monkey! 不過都幾臭!

我地返嚟啦,雖然一早去到公園,不過太陽伯伯都好厲害 ,astha邊行邊踢波,真係玩到身水身汗,午餐之後去埋toyrus,見到一位唐氏姐姐,佢爸爸話個女今年小3喇,自理方面好企理,仲好文靜tim,叻女

han han back to school today.  my holiday la.  

yesterday morning we went to the peak.  not too crowded when we were there because quite early.  but when we returned home (about 11 a.m.), already a long queue at the peak tram terminal at garden road.

in the evening my mother + brother's family came for dinner.  it seems every time when there're more people in the house, han han appears more lively.  last night she even rode on her older cousin.

今日我地去左石澳,astha在沙地上面行走都冇問題,不過一要行去水邊就     ,仲成隻樹熊咁夾住我唔放

astha 'net net' ga.  some children would cry even when they touch the sand.  maybe astha is afraid of the coming & going waves.

for han han, she likes going to the beach because she loves eating sand

澄澄又多一科要覆診! 今次係骨科! 今日有個骨科醫生義務到協康睇症, 澄澄順便睇埋一份, 因為我發覺佢手胶骨有d 問題, 佢成日話痛, 醫生話好似有little脫胶, 要去照x光. 我覺得個醫生好好人, 不收$$替小朋友檢查, 仲好詳細及耐性.

想知道澄澄同han han依家在醫院有沒有什麼定期檢查 ??
astha現階段都按時去醫院見兒科醫生,再加耳鼻喉科/睡眠科及眼科,下次覆診時想醫生安排佢睇埋心臟,因為daddy睇過有關唐氏兒童既書籍,裡面都建議家長定期去check下小朋友既身體狀況,不過唔知到時醫生so唔so我地

han han has some heart problems.  so she goes to granham hospital once every 6 months for check-up.  no operation so far because no immediate heart failure.  also no need to take medicine.

han han also has regular check-up at sandy bay duchess of kent once every year.  there apart from seeing the doctor, she would have blood test (to see if any blood problem and thyroid problem), hearing test and eyesight test.  last time after she was 3 years old she also had x-ray of the neck.  han han has some minute hearing problem.  but no need to use hearing aid.  she also has farsightedness.  but she is unwilling to wear glasses for longer than 5 - 10 minutes.  

regina, has astha had any check-up of her heart since she was born? e.g. 'sum din toe' and 'chiu sing ball'?  after han han was born, she did not show any symptom of heart problem.  anyway she was referred to granham hospital for a check-up as ds children easily get congenital heart problems.  there, she had x-ray, 'sum din toe' and 'chiu sing ball'.  it was during 'chiu sing ball' that her heart problems were discovered.

ching ching 'net' wor.  she can    you that she feels painful.  han han never, even though i often find bruises on her legs and arms.

    me again.  have forgotten to mention a book -  Medical & Surgical Care for Children with Down Syndrome  (A Guide for Parents) edited by D.C. Van Dyke, Philip Mattheis etc.  I ordered it from Amazon. com.  one can refer to this book for a lot of useful information.

astha 出世之後發現心臟有一個洞,到6個月時照echo醫生說已經自動埋左,跟住便沒有再覆診,不過最近daddy再提起及因為看過一些書籍,所以便希望同醫生會作出安排.
不過astha身體尚好(touch wood   ),所以我地湊她都不算辛苦
