Out of all assumptions, this one makes the most sense. With or without preparation from parents, answers will be so standard to those questions unless you say sth like I disagree/discourage with parent-school coordination, which I am sure no one did. The duration of interview really depends on how long the parents can expand the topic and prolong the process which i don't think it's a considering factor. If you give a second thought about it, despite of teachers did not make any notes (which they might after we left the room), it will be nearly impossible for the teachers to choose 40-50% out of the 800 (assuming 99% will give same answers and that 1% couldn't answer because the poor baby is crying/running around). Some parents did mention that accepted children are pre-determined, but I don't see the point of doing a 2nd interview wasting their resources and time, and ours of course. So the 2nd In is still mainly on children and to see how independent they are, as this is very important to St Cat. This will help them to make final decisions. (Of course together with consideration of 1st In interview performance, occupation, home address, connection, siblings alum etc etc)
Anyways, I am just trying to wrap up and consolidate all the guessing out now.
Just wait for 2 weeks and Good luck with all the parents
