Could you let me know whether I can buy the 雪印milk power in Shanghai.  Do you know how much due to my aunt always buy baby food in HK to Suzhou.  I will go to Shanghai to view firstly on next week and she wanna me to bring 10 kgs milk power to her.  I afraid, how to solve the problem when I live in Shanghai.  Is it not easy to buy the baby food in there.

I wish to go with my daughter but my husband is out of town during the weekend.  I am scare to go sightseeing with my daughter without my husband's accompanying.   Do let me if the Museum is deserved to go for a walk.  My daughter also likes Thomas the Tank.

I'm not able to go today. I have a breakfast meeting in hotel with my boss & team. Because no one take care of my son, I take him with me.  My boss does not like to talk much, because my son insisted to sit next to me, when my boss started to talk, my son said, "Mama, I don't want to listen to him." My team (8 persons) were laughing.  Then, my son said (very loud), "Mama, why don't we talk about someone want to kill you."  Then, everyone was looking at me and him. They all know he was talking about the crazy sales manager.  It was so embrassing.

But I will go to the Railway Musem next saturday morning, they don't open on Sunday. You want to join?

It's so funny to have a kid attending adult's business meeting.  Ha..ha...

For my side, my daughter got sick.  She has got "手口足病"!!!  She started sick since last Saturday.  I have already brought her to see doctor.  The doctor said that it takes 2 weeks for the complete recovery and she can't be schooling.  I will be very busy in taking care of her for the coming two weeks.

Dear all mommies,

I can't join the Thursday gathering as my daugther is sick....    Nov. Mom, I may not be able to meet you before your departure.  Wish you and Kai Kai all the best and stay in touch.

Hi all SH moms,

This is QQ from HK.  My husband will be relocating to SH, and thus I and my 2 kids will be coming also.  I've reading all of your messages for a few months and I'm hoping to join your activities as soon as possible.

We will come at early August as the kindergarten starts on 26/8.  I'd like my son to adapt to the new environment before immediately go to school.  

As I'm planning the big moving now, can any mom give me some hints for the moving?  It's quite headache.....

You have to let your daugther drinks lots of water & rest.  If she is taking any vitamin? Try to give her more Vit. C.  (I've ordered a book from amazon.com, written by a Dr. about how to heal with flu/cold).

I got 手口足病 when my son was 3 month old, because I was too tired to work and took care of him at the same time. If there's any bubbles on her hand and feet?  Have you reported to her school?

If your husband's company will pay, try to use a professional relocation company, e.g. Sante Fe, Crown etc...You don't even have to think how to pack and unpack, they will do everything.   If you are living in a 3-bedroom apartment, it takes one day for them to pack and few hours to unpack when arrive Shanghai.

By the way, don't think about the crazy staff anymore.  Frankly speaking, there're many this kind of crazy people in China (I've been working with the China team for 5 years), this one gone, the other one may be coming.  It is a good experience becaue you have already learnt how to deal with them.  If the next one really comes, you don't even need 15 mins to get them out.

Thanks for your advice.  I have no experience in taking care of kid with this illness.

This time I was quiet lucky when seeing doctor in Fu Dan Children Hospital.  When I went there on Saturday afternoon, there should be no specialist/senior doctor on duty.  However, the nurse said that she knew a skin specialist hasn't left and called her to give treatment to my daughter.  This doctor seemed trustable.  She told me that this illness is very very common in SH and she has already got several patients in the morning.  She told me how to take care of Wing and also gave me medicine including Vit. C.  I felt quite satisfy with her.

May be Wing's illness is in the earliest stage, only many red spots are found on her feet, and her throat is red (with cough and running nose).  Hope the medicine can control her illness.   I have reported to her school and I think they will take necessary action.

Thanks.  But I don't think I can enjoy the "大長今" as Wing Wing occupied most of my time.  I even can't go out alone as she doesn't want my ayi to take care of her............ (I could finish at least 4 chapters a day when Wing was schooling!!)

Thanks.   You started planning to move to SH la.  Don't feel headache, everything will be fine.   Welcome to both 黃子 and QQMOMQQ to join our activities in future.  Our club in Shanghai becomes larger and larger, it makes me feel I am not so lonely here.

I am still no action about packing, can't start to move my stuff because fatty must destroy all the things she can touch.  Be honesty, I don't think the staff of shipping company (even big firm) are good for packing/unpacking in Shanghai. My friend was from Taiwan, she lost some crystals during the moving (not sure was TW or SH side).  And some furntures were damaged while moving in.  They are 粗手粗腳    

About illness, Kaikai has got running nose for 2 weeks.  I brought her to consult 復旦(五官科) & 汾陽路耳鼻喉科(終身榮譽教授). Both dr. said Kaikai got 鼻敏感 and ears got a bit inflection not 中耳炎. Now is almost recover.  What I think Sh medical system is, no matter how senior / experienced of the doctor, medicines are limited can be offered.  So I would like to say, don't get sick in China. 真係病唔起. Take care you all guys.  I know one Taiwan clicnic is doing business in SH, I'll post the related info. once I got it.

We decided to leave in Jun 16.  Stay in touch and we may come back a few years later.

I have confirmed a house in Puxi hongqiao area (named 西郊寶城).  It takes around 15-20 mins to school (Yew Chung).  Did you confirm your house or not?

I'm already a housewife since October 2004 (6 months after I born my daughter).  I believe both of us can take good care of our family and kids.  Nothing is impossible.  Try your best & never give up will surely make things happen in perfect shape.  Did you quit your job already?

Is your husband or yourself be relocated to SH?........ Let's stay in touch.

It is so coincident, my son will transfer K3 class to Yew Chung SH. How about you?  How much and size for your apartment?  I will quit my job next month and arrange to relocation to SH.  Even though, we are so confused, hope we can conform in SH.

It's strange that you haven't confirmed the apartment but already chose the school for your son......
