There is a chance (but I am not 100% sure) that the child is called in earlier to stay in the reading area to read books, and the earlier the child goes in, the longer he/she stays there to read books, and the actual interview time (with headmistress or vice headmistress) may still be the same.  I think it is hard to ascertain this point because the child does not know the precise time he/she is called inside the room (unless a clearly visible clock is there).

For my son's case:

2:50pm:  arrived school main entrance
2:53pm:  arrived on 4/F (the waiting area)
2:55pm:  my son went into the classroom
3:40pm:   finished

有d9月8日交表o既家長都仲未收到信，所以可能未寄出姐，如果呢個禮拜尾仲未收到先至緊張啦。

Hi Yuwei and parents who have attend interviews,

Is it cold inside the interview room? Do I need to put a long sleeve for my child? coz my child will easily get impatience when he is sweating...

My girl had interview on 9/28 and she said the lady who interviewed her wore many many clothes!!!  Don't know why she said that but i will definitely put on long sleeve for her as it seems a more "proper" dress code.  I saw girls with not even sleeveless "背心" but "吊帶"!!   i personally think it is not that suitable lor....  We parents have to wait outside ie. no air conditioning.  hope it helps.

Temperatures these days are invariably below 30 C and they will remain so over the weekend.  My son feels cool in the morning (22-24 C) and has to keep his long-sleeve underwear on after waking up.  Air-conditioning should keep the temperature in around that, so a light long-sleeve coat would sound prudent.

How about long sleeve shirt + a thin vest? Will it be too much then....

My boy has the experience of the shirt all going outside the pant after the interview:;pppp:

I think a long-sleeve shirt (with undershirt) and a thin vest will suffice.  The vest can cover up the messy shirt outside the trousers too. :)

Where should I stop if I get a taxi from CWB via the Aberdeen tunnel?  The same place as I took a bus (i.e. I should get off at the bus stop?)

If I remembered correctly, it's all the original copies = birth certificate of your child, I.D card of one of the parents, address proof, baptism certificate (if you have), graduation certificate from SPCC ( if you are an alumnus), receipt of the application form and letter for interview.

That means the notification letter for interview still needs to be brought.  

Nicolemummy, if you can leave home after 9 am for the interview, do try to give the school a call just in case.

That's true but afterall, I couldn't find it anyway.
Luckily I mark the application number. Actually, I have been there once for my elder daughter (not admitted anyway) so I think that is fine. Surely I will give them a call before.
